Again, US media keep showing that Russia is winning hands down

It starts out telling us that the Ukies are running out of ammo. Informed Westerners know that Ukraine has ALWAYS been running out of ammo, and that is a constant because corporate capitalism is poorly suited for war production.
Now consider the fact that Congress and the White House are currently wrangling over a measly $61 billion of aid to Ukraine and Israel. However, the amount allotted to Ukraine most likely could not come near to replacing the entire power grid of the state with the largest land mass in Europe (not counting Russia)!
I can anticipate that these billions will be unblocked and wind up being earmarked for Ukraine arms but then Zelensky will get on his hobby horse again and demand that the West rebuild his power grid first.
Then, eventually, after some wrangling, most of this is spent on the grid, and Zelensky resumes his song and dance about the need for Western military aid or else we’ll all be slaves to Russia, and the fools in Washington eventually wind up giving him $61 billion MORE.
Or in the event Trump is elected, he convinces Congress to grant all this as a loan, assuring everyone that it will be paid back with interest and we’ll be the big winners!
There are at least 2 catches to this Trump plan, namely, 1—Ukraine is so far in the hole it will NEVER be able to pay back one red cent, and 2—Russia will win the war and, as we can expect, will scoff at the debt.
The US will be left holding the bag, and meanwhile US finances will keep collapsing until the Fed finally closes down its printing press or declares national bankruptcy or both.
Meanwhile, Ukraine takes the money and rebuilds its power grid, and then kerblam! Russia blows it all up again.
Nonetheless, the Neocons will keep clamoring for war with China and then what? Who will foot that bill? China? Should we ask?
The big catch is, this current media tactic is all propaganda in favor of more US and NATO support for a failed state that hasn’t a ghost of a chance to defeat Russia. In fact, none of the Western media I am reading even dares mention, in the context of the war, the fact that the lights are out across Ukraine.
How does any country win a war with no electricity to run the trains bringing troops and supplies to the front lines or to run the arms factories – many of which by the way, have been bombed to smithereens (another such hit is in today’s air strike update below)? (My readers know all about the daily missile and drone strikes and have no illusions).
Meanwhile, the West’s defenses are being badly depleted. If the US ever has to fight a REAL enemy, we’ll be in trouble.
Another problem is that whatever new power generation equipment can be purchased with cash extorted from the US taxpayer will have to be retrofitted into an old Soviet made national grid that is not fully compatible with Western equipment. Much of it will have to be built from the ground up with imported Western equipment, which, BTW, is unfamiliar to the Ukrainian engineers.
Consequently, they will have to import engineers – who of course, know nothing about the old Soviet systems they are connecting to.
But the catch there is that Russia is missile-striking all Western “advisors” and mercs, and they have informants who feed the coordinates of foreign meddlers to the Russian aerospace forces. Zelensky has stopped all negotiations, remember? There’s a law against negotiating with the “enemy.”
So what’s to stop the missiles?
The new Patriot systems that you will also be forced to pay for?
No, because NO air defense system anywhere in the world can intercept hypersonic missiles.
I leave you with just these problems to ponder. It’s enough to show you which way the wind is blowing.
Don’t expect mild breezes for the next few years.

The Russian army launched a massive attack on Dnepropetrovsk
Messages from the special operation zone. Our army dealt a massive blow to Dnepropetrovsk. Several powerful explosions occurred in the city at once; local media write about this, keeping silent about where exactly the hits were. True, eyewitnesses say that after the arrivals a second detonation was heard, which may indicate damage to ammunition depots. In addition, there are many industrial enterprises in Dnepropetrovsk that are used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Our army is carrying out precision strikes on targets associated with the Ukrainian military industry in response to Kyiv's attempts to attack Russian energy.
And this video is from the Ministry of Defense [video is embedded here]. The crews of Su-34 fighter-bombers destroyed the enemy command post and manpower in the South Donetsk area. The strike was carried out by aerial bombs with a universal glide and correction module. After completing the assigned task, the planes returned to the airfield.
And more footage of a powerful attack on enemy positions. This is the Kharkov region, the settlement of Liptsy. A temporary location for Ukrainian militants and foreign mercenaries was discovered there. The strike was carried out by our operational-tactical aviation. Target destroyed.

The Russian Armed Forces hit Ukrainian Armed Forces aircraft at Dnepropetrovsk International Airport
Alexey Komolov
On the night of April 15, the Russian military launched an attack with Iskander missiles on the international airport of Dnepropetrovsk, writes Donbass Partisan.
It is noted that the strike hit the parking lot of flight equipment, where a MiG-29 fighter was destroyed and another aircraft was damaged by shrapnel. In addition, there was a fuel leak and a fire.
The publication states that the enemy regularly uses this airport as a base for the training and deployment of combat aircraft.
At night, an air raid alert was declared in the Dnepropetrovsk region, and Ukrainian media reported explosions in the regional center.
[Well, the Russian authorities had promised that any French (or other western) military sent to Ukraine would be killed.]

But the underlying problem is “Christian” Zionism, and that is the core doctrine of the Evangelical church. We can’t solve any government problem without tackling that problem first.
Sadly, though, nobody wants to talk about it.
Evangelical leaders have a million excuses for Israel. In fact, they think the genocide is pure propaganda.

Trump’s favorite saying is, “If I were president this would have never happened.”
He sets up a hypothetical which therefore cannot be proven.
Only diehard MAGA fans would swallow this.
Trump has revealed himself to be a loyal Zionist, I can’t say Christian Zionist because aside from his sudden interest in Bible sales he’s never impressed me as a Christian. One good thing from these long Pre-election campaigns is that events arise and the candidate steps in it, revealing himself.

Hezbollah ambushes Israel’s Golani Brigade on Lebanon border
The explosive attack came hours after hundreds of Iranian drones and missiles were launched at Israel
APR 15, 2024
Hezbollah announced on 15 April an ambush against Israeli troops in the Tal Ismail area on Lebanon’s side of the border with Israel the night before.
“In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their brave and honorable resistance, and after careful monitoring and anticipation of the movements of the enemy forces, the Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance planted a number of explosive devices in the Tal Ismail area adjacent to the border with occupied Palestine inside Lebanese territory,” Hezbollah said on Monday.
“When a force belonging to the Golani Brigade crossed the border and reached the location, the explosives were detonated, causing their members to be killed or wounded.”
An Israeli army spokesman initially said that one soldier was seriously wounded and two others lightly injured in “an explosion of unknown origin.”
Israeli army radio said that “Golani fighters carried out an operation near the border, tens of hundreds of meters away from Israeli territory,” and were injured “inside Lebanese territory.”

This author is partly correct. There is WESTERN support, and that is always conflated with “international” support, which is really silly. Most states unaligned with the US do not support Israel.

'Israel senses international support again, but does not want to lose it immediately'
Author: Samuel Hanegreefs
Israel appears to be taking its time to consider an appropriate counterattack against Iran. 'The country is again feeling international support, which it had completely lost due to the operations in Gaza. It does not want to immediately lose that support by rushing into a major attack on Iran," says correspondent Ralph Dekkers.
Iran announced, before the drones and missiles reached Israel on Saturday night, that it would stop there. Iran's UN representation at the United Nations said at the time that "this matter can be considered closed."
“Biden literally said to Netanyahu: take your winnings. Take the hit and move on'
Ralph Dekkers, correspondent
At that moment, during the attack, according to Dekkers, there was a feeling in the Israeli war cabinet that Israel had to strike back immediately. "But that was stopped by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu," Dekkers says from Israel.
No major actions in the coming days
When it later became apparent that the damage had been largely limited, it was decided to take a little more time. "Israel is now trying to build an international coalition, while at the same time keeping up the pressure by stating that it will strike back," says Dekkers. Former Defense Minister and War Cabinet member Benny Gantz said on Sunday that Israel "will make Iran pay a price in a way and at a time that is appropriate for us."
Dekkers does not assume that major operations will take place in the next 24 to 48 hours. Israel has withdrawn some security measures, such as closing schools and banning large gatherings.
Pro-Israel rallies were held in Germany, among other places. "The country is again feeling international support, which it had completely lost due to the operations in Gaza."

Attacked by another country for the first time in 33 years
Moreover, Israel feels great international support, and it does not want to lose it immediately with a large-scale attack. 'It is the first time in 33 years that Israel has been attacked by another country, including arch enemy Iran. The country now feels again the support it completely lost due to the operations.'
The US is also putting pressure not to escalate. “Biden literally said to Netanyahu: take your winnings. You have shown that it is not possible to attack Israel. Take the hit and move on.”

Privatization is a racket!
One of the many scams that countries are hit with when they decide to take a loan through the IMF is an obligation to privative all their state-run utilities and industries.
This takes the control over the utilities out of the people’s hands and puts them into the greedy paws of America’s favorite predatory capitalists.
Jeff explains how this works.
Following the US lead, Panama fell into this trap. Predictably, electricity prices soared as a result, and that is unjustified because Panama is blessed with vast water resources to power hydroelectric generators. Every Mw of power is therefore virtually free of charge to the predators who own the dams and power generating equipment. So why the price hike after privatization? We’re feeding the billionaires.
That’s good ole American capitalism. Bleeding the little guy dry is as American as apple pie and genocide.
Meanwhile, China, which US propagandists tell us is authoritarian, gives the people what they want and need. No predators sit atop the board of administration of the utilities and the people thrive. But of course, we sheeple are told to hate that.
And the latest excuse for the exploitation of US citizens is climate change. Fill the pockets of the billionaires and save the planet!
Electricity Shmectricity- what are the differences between China’s and America’s grids? Why does it matter to both peoples? Nine graphs and charts help tell the story…

Jeff writes:
Any citizens who are nonchalant enough or gullible enough or stupid enough to watch their commonwealth be sold to private sector rapists deserve their abysmal fate. With the neoliberal-neocons finally able to walk through the front door of the White House starting in the early 1980s, and in Europe, starting with the European Treaty (ET, aka Lisbon Treaty) in 2009, the fate of the quality of life for Westerners is dire indeed.

For years I wondered what the Arab monarchs in their fancy Arab costumes were like. You said it perfectly with one word. They are CREEPS. Anti-Russianism is not the the feeling of the American people. Those who live their lives and foster Hatred of Russia are the neocon cabal mainly JEWS. The Jews should be thankful that Russia defeated the Germans. Had they won there would not be a Jew in Europe nor an Israel. The most likely reason they hate the Russians is that the Russians would not let them take over their country as they are now taking over our beloved AMERICA. Time for we Americans realize what is happening. Walt

US Senator outraged that Iran would DARE to interfere with the humanitarian US-Israel genocide project
"Israel's not at war with Hamas or Hezbollah or Yemen," the senator said. "Those are all surrogates for Iran, they're prostitutes. The pimp is Iran. Israel is at war with Iran. Iran hates Americans. Iran hates Jews. Iran wants to kill Americans and Jews. And if we turn the other cheek to them, we're going to get it in the neck."
He also pointed out that Biden has consistently undermined Israel even as he declares his "ironclad support":
And today the White House has already leaked to the press early this morning that they're not going to participate in an Israeli response to what Iran just did. Let, let me say it again. More sheep is not going to solve the wolf problem. My advice to the President today, for what it's worth.
Mr. President, don't.
Me,
So, Senator, can we put you down as an endorser of genocide?
