Even after Ukraine loses 80% of its power, Russian air strikes on its power utilities continue unabated
All of Kharkov City’s power utilities were struck today. Looks like lights out in Ukraine! But retaliatory deep strikes by Ukraine on Russian industry today create conditions suggesting a wider war.
Here’s your air strike update for April 2, 2024

AIR STRIKES IN UKRAINE APRIL 2: NEWS OF EXPLOSIONS, AIR ALERTS, DESTRUCTION
The Russian army continues to strike at power supply facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, logistics hubs and places of concentration of Armed Forces personnel. Targets are being destroyed in the Kharkov oblast and other Ukrainian oblasts. We tell you everything that is known about the situation in Ukraine on April 2.
The Russian Armed Forces attacked the Lozovatka airport in Krivoy Rog – RIA Novosti with reference to the underground
From this airport, the Ukrainian Air Force launched military aircraft and helicopters into the air.
The Su-34 crews attacked the enemy command post and manpower in the southern Donetsk direction. The strike was carried out with FAB-500 aerial bombs with a universal planing and correction module.
Bombs on bridges: The Russian Aerospace Forces continue to delight with their work.
Russian aircraft carried out two attacks with glide bombs on bridges on the territory of what is still Ukraine. Unfortunately, there was no strike on bridges across the Dnieper. But those too will have their turn.
The first object was destroyed in the Zaporozhye oblast. The automobile bridge provided traffic flow across the Gaichur River on the eastern outskirts of the city of Gulyaypole. Its destruction is aimed at isolating the Ugledar group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which they are currently trying to deprive of supplies via paved roads. Also, the elimination of the bridge will make it difficult for the enemy to maneuver forces along the front line. That is, it will become more difficult for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to respond to crisis situations.
Today, a bomb on the universal glide and correction module (UMPK) destroyed a pontoon bridge across the Oskol River, located between the village of Osinovo and the village of Kupyansk-Uzlovoy in the Kharkov oblast. Our aircraft destroyed the major bridges in this area in the spring of 2023. In fact, this was the first operation to isolate a section of the front using a bomb with a UMPK.
[Click for description of gliding and correction module, UMPK: https://www.fdd.org/analysis/2023/05/30/russias-new-guided-glide-bombs/]
Despite the difficult logistics, the Ukrainian Armed Forces were able to hold their position, so now our aviation is increasing the difficulty level of the attempt for them.
Taking into account recent reports about the resumption of production in Russia of three-ton high-explosive bombs FAB-3000 and the modernization of air-launched cruise missiles X-101, which, by reducing the amount of fuel, managed to increase the mass of the warhead to 800 kilograms, nothing good awaits Ukrainian bridges in the future. And the Donbass enemy group will probably have to solve non-trivial logistics puzzles.
The Russian Armed Forces launched another strike on a critical facility in Kharkov
According to the head of the OVA [regional military administration], Sinegubov, a new air strike was carried out on an infrastructure facility in the Lyubotinsky community. He did not specify which one.
The mayor of Kharkov, Terekhov, previously said that almost all critical infrastructure in the city was destroyed.
Consequences of attacks on Kharkov.
A video has appeared on the Internet of Ukrainians leaving Kharkov en masse. Ukrainian truckers filmed Kharkov residents leaving the city en masse.
[Link to video https://t.me/nabludatels/41106]
Let us note that after the Russian Armed Forces destroyed the city’s power infrastructure, residents began to evacuate en masse. [Let us recall that a recent translation that I posted said that Ukraine had lost 80% of its electrical power and much of it was not coming back possibly for years. Kharkov is only one of many cities that lost its power sometime since March 22, the date of the Crocus city terror attack. As you can see from the mass evacuation from Kharkov, Ukraine is facing an unprecedented crisis that threatens its statehood]
The video shows just an endless stream of cars leaving Kharkov. All lanes are stuck in traffic jams; even in the oncoming lanes, large traffic jams are forming.
Note that the Russians were able to completely suppress the air defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which gives them the opportunity to strike the city with heavy aerial bombs.
Footage of destruction at the Zmievskaya Thermal Power Plant in the Kharkov oblast.
[Photo of Zmievskaya power plant after strike: https://t.me/OstashkoNews/127998?single]
As a result of a missile strike by the Russian Aerospace Forces, the largest thermal power plant in the oblast was almost completely destroyed. Ukrainian power engineers stated that not a single unit at the station is working. [And this was just today, after 80% of Ukraine power was lost. Looks like the Russians have no intention to stop the attacks any time soon]
Almost all critical energy infrastructure has been destroyed in Kharkov, Mayor Terekhov said today.
[BUT THERE ARE SETBACKS FOR RUSSIA TOO. THERE’S NO SECRET WHO’S BEHIND THE DESTRUCTION REPORTED BELOW. NONE OF THIS COULD HAVE BEEN DONE WITHOUT COORDINATES AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FROM THE WEST. THEORETICALLY, RUSSIA COULD DECLARE WAR ON NATO ON THIS BASIS. THE WEST IS PLAYING WITH FIRE]
Footage of a Ukrainian drone arriving in Yelabuga. [also alternatively reported as “Alabuga”]
Today at 05:45 am, a hostel in the Yelabuga special economic zone was hit by two drones, the SEZ [Special Economic Zone] press service reported.
The drones were equipped with equipment from NATO countries.
The attack on the Yelabuga SEZ could have been carried out using a Ukrainian-made Aeroprakt A-22 light aircraft. Apparently, the plane was converted for unmanned control and loaded with a small amount of explosives (or flew without any at all).
The flight range without modifications can be 1,100 kilometers, but if you remove some interior parts, it can be increased.
For takeoff, such an aircraft requires 100-150 meters, so there is no need to use an airfield for takeoff. In addition, there are many such aircraft - in 2021, the manufacturer reported the production of thousands of such aircraft. In addition to Ukraine, the A-22 is assembled on the territory of AEROPRAKT Polska Sp.z o.o in Zaklichin (Poland).
A separate question is how the plane managed to cover 1200 kilometers to Tatarstan. Most likely, there was no question of a direct flight. In that case, the probability of losing the plane would be high. Most likely, the flight took place at an extremely low altitude, bypassing air defense zones (who and how provided data on positional areas is another question that will need to be answered).
Another question that requires clarification is why the facility where the Geran-2 UAVs are assembled (the plane missed it by several hundred meters) was not reliably covered by air defense and protected from attacks by low-altitude drones. [My guess is that, at that distance from Ukraine, no one expected this could happen. That will change now]. Information about routes around air defense zones could be provided by US optical-electronic and electronic reconnaissance satellites. The sensors installed on them are capable of determining the positions and types of air defense systems based on their visual portraits and the radiation parameters of their radars.
On February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a special operation in Ukraine, which, according to him, was caused by the need to protect the residents of Donbass. He noted that Russia had no other choice. [I had written about the shelling of Donbass here. The embedded videos were rare because the entire West conspired to keep independent journalists out of Donbass. News of the near-genocide taking place here was to be squelched. It was a US PROJECT under the Obama-Biden-Nuland regime that started on the Maidan. It was analogous to the genocide in Gaza, which Biden pretends to oppose but supports with weapons transfers]
The West condemned Moscow's actions, deciding to support Kiev with financial assistance and weapons. In this regard, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov emphasized that the geographical objectives of the special operation in Ukraine have changed, and they will not be completed within the territories of Donbass only.
Europe is still confident that sanctions can stop the Russians, and therefore suffers losses and a destructive impact from its own decisions on its own economy. Respectable citizens in Europe do not understand why prices in stores are rising, and fuel is becoming more expensive, and why the Kiev authorities do not compromise in order to sit down at the negotiating table with the Kremlin.

Malaysia on high alert after arrest of armed Israeli national
https://www.arabnews.com/node/2485371/world
36-year-old Israeli was traveling on reportedly fake French passport
KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian authorities were on high alert on Saturday after the arrest of an Israeli national who was apprehended with several handguns and rounds of ammunition at a hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
Malaysia has long shown support for Palestinian statehood and its leaders have been fiercely critical of Israel since the beginning of its deadly invasion of Gaza in October.
The 36-year-old suspect was detained earlier this week, and found with six pistols and 200 bullets, police said on Friday, expressing concern to local media over the haul.
“Why does the suspect need that many pistols and bullets?” National Police Chief Razarudin Husain told reporters.
“He claimed to have come to Malaysia to kill another Israeli citizen over a personal dispute, but is it true?”
Police revealed that the man had entered the country on March 12 from the UAE and had stayed in several hotels since.
He reportedly handed over what authorities believed to be a fake French passport before producing an Israeli one after further questioning.
Since then, authorities said that they were cautious about the security of several public figures, including the king — Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar — and Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.
Earlier on Saturday, local media reported that police arrested three Malaysians on suspicion of supplying the weapons and acting as a driver to the Israeli suspect. They also seized another handgun during the arrest.
The arrest of the Israeli prompted Mohd. Azmi Abdul Hamid, the leader of the Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organization — a local humanitarian group — to urge Malaysia to beef-up its security.
State news agency Bernama quoted Azmi as saying Malaysia’s firm stance against Israel and boycott of Israeli products had attracted Tel Aviv’s attention, as the country “stands out among the countries that strongly condemn Israel and spearheads international campaigns in support of Palestine.”
This suggests a situation I have long suspected:
I suspect that Western leaders such as lawmakers and presidents know that they will become targets of Mossad should they fail to play along with the crime syndicate called “Israel.”
How else could you explain that the entire Biden team keeps sending lethal arms to a rogue regime that uses them to perpetrate a genocide — despite their feigned concern for Gazan victims.
The US and allies support both Israeli genocidal maniacs and the Ukronazis and today’s events suggest a wider war on account of both countries.
Does the US want WW II?

The massacre at Shifa hospital
Guess what?
Turns out there was no Hamas at the hospital, now that 40 patients have died!!
Both Donald Trump and Joe Biden are Genocidal War Hawks who support Israel's Zionazi 'Final Solution' of the Palestinians: Extermination.
Both say, "Finish The Job" to Nazi Netanyahu.
To stop this genocide requires the action of millions of peace activists in the streets before it's too late to stop the madmen from starting more wars.
