How the US is destroying the European economy
A European analyst (see translation below) expects economic growth to be “significantly hampered” by Trump’s tariffs.
I wonder if you have ever considered all the damages the US has inflicted on the European economy in recent memory.
Probably the biggest blow was administered by the Obama regime’s heavy handed involvement in the Maidan movement, in the form of a US-engineered illegal and violent coup that led to a hot war still ongoing in Ukraine. The war led to sanctions and a loss of Russian energy that had propped up the German and other economies, causing a catastrophe in German industry.
Secondly, Biden’s detonation of the Nord Stream gas pipeline completely cut off cheap pipelined gas to Europe and administered the coup de grace to the European economy, which is not coming back.
Thirdly, added to this debacle was America’s – and the Ukraine Nazis’ – demand for an abundant supply of weapons from the West, which in many cases were blown up by Russian drones and missiles even before they were unpacked from the shipping crates and had to be replenished, costing Europe billions.
Trump keeps demanding more and more European weapons and euros from Ukraine – thus significantly contributing to the killing, even as he insists that the war would not have happened had he been president. And the suckers keep kissing his boots. There is only one way out for Europe and that is to stop kissing American butt and waking up to the reality of the BRICS.
If Europe ever awakens from its deep slumber and turns eastward, it will easily save its economy by trading exclusively with the free and open BRICS economies, leaving Washington high and dry. There would be no risk in this since the BRICS is more dynamic than the decrepit G7 and its members are consistently showing higher growth rates than the moribund Western hegemon.
However, there are as yet no signs that this will happen. It is hard to feel sorry for the willingly ignorant.

Here’s how Europe is contemplating fighting back against Trump’s tariffs

US import tariffs could push EU toward recession
Lotte van Coevorden
If the 30 percent US import tariffs on goods from the European Union go ahead, economic growth will be significantly hampered, says Carsten Brzeski, chief economist at ING Research. US President Donald Trump announced in a letter to Europe this weekend that he intends to implement the tariffs on August 1st. The European Union has decided to postpone any countermeasures until that date.
Import tariffs of 30 percent would mean a loss of approximately 0.4 percentage points, Brzeski explains. "Given that the European economy is expected to grow by around 0.7 percent this year, that would push us toward recession or stagnation."
The sectors affected are well-known: the automotive industry, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and also steel and aluminum. "The German economy will be particularly affected. That explains why Chancellor Merz also reacted cautiously to the news." He said yesterday in an interview on German television that this will "hit the country hard" if the tariffs go ahead. [But the craven coward will not fight back, just keep licking Washington’s boots and talking tough on Russia, which is within a hair’s breadth of winning, with Ukraine lying virtually in ruins!]
But the American economy will also suffer from the tariffs. For example, cars will become more expensive and may no longer be ordered. "And perhaps even worse: BMW and Mercedes could decide to stop exporting to the US altogether. We saw that around Liberation Day, the day Trump announced his import tariffs on various countries. At that time, some German manufacturers said it was no longer profitable to supply cars to the US."
"All scenarios are already in place"
All European leaders have now reacted negatively. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has announced that she will do nothing for the time being and postpone countermeasures until August 1st. This suggests that there is hope for a deal. This will be discussed today in the European Parliament with the trade ministers. But all scenarios have long been on the table, says Brzeski. "One option is that we buy more goods from the US, as we did previously with, for example, soybeans and LNG." [BUY MORE US goods! That would really serve Washington right, wouldn’t it?] This time, we could add defense items.' The EU could also decide to lower import duties somewhere. 'That's an option for cars, but agriculture is more sensitive. Not everyone in Europe agrees on that.'
'One option is that we buy more goods from the US, as we did previously with, for example, soybeans and LNG.' [Yeah, when they could have Russian gas at two-thirds the price! Good thinking there!]
Carsten Brzeski, Chief Economist
A more robust approach would be to stop exporting certain goods that Americans need, such as medicines or Ozempic, to the US. 'That would really hit the American economy.' As a final option, the EU could counterattack and also raise import duties, for example, on American digital services. 'That's interesting, because Europe has a trade surplus in goods, but the US has a surplus in services. In that area, they are more dependent on us.'
Avoiding Further Escalation
Yet, a trade war is ultimately unwinnable, says Brzeski. [not really unwinnable at all. Turning to BRICS would be the ideal response, but Europe is brain-washed into thinking China and its allies are evil. Well, keep thinking like that and watch your economy go bye bye] Therefore, he believes it's wise to avoid further escalation. 'That doesn't benefit anyone.' It's better to look for a compromise: perhaps a symbolic gesture like buying a few more of certain American goods, combined with the scaling back of some non-tariff barriers.

Palestine and the production of ignorance
The Trump administration is attacking academia because it threatens existing power structures and dominant elites. This is seen most clearly when it comes to Palestine.
By Muhammad Ali Khalidi July 13, 2025 7
Excerpt:
Especially in political contexts, ignorance can be understood not just as the absence of knowledge, but as the product of an active process of suppressing and discrediting knowledge that threatens existing power structures and dominant elites. Results in many areas of academic research undermine the right-wing ideology of the current US administration, including scientific research on climate change, vaccine safety, environmental protection, and alternative energy sources, and historical scholarship on race and gender, to name a few, and that goes a long way to explain the current assault on universities.

Air strike update for 7-14, 2025
Translation with my notes in bold and in [brackets]
July 14, 2025, 12:00
The Russian army launched new strikes against the rear of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Ukraine
An explosion at a military facility in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Another one in the vicinity of Chernigov. Presumably, a Geran drone was used. As in Nikolaev. There, the target could have been a plant where aircraft for the Ukrainian Armed Forces were repaired.
Kiev region. Strike- and several detonations in a row.
Footage from the right bank of the Dnieper. An artillery strike on the site from which enemy drones were controlled. The fire was adjusted by Supercam drone operators.
Enemy positions were hit in the LPR [Lugansk People’s Republic]. A few shots from a T-72 tank were enough.
And in the Kharkov region, the militants suffered losses in equipment. The Russian Guard destroyed a British Snatch armored vehicle that was used to deliver ammunition.

In broad daylight. Iskanders launched a retaliatory strike on Ukrainian Armed Forces targets in Odessa
It has been a long time since an air raid alarm was declared during the day in Ukraine. But today, before the sirens had time to sound, explosions were heard in the Odessa and Kyiv oblasts, and then it rumbled in the Sumy, Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk olasts.
A new concept of air attacks
Judging by incomplete information, which is currently being clarified, in the Odessa region, targets in the seaports of Chornomorsk (Ilyichevsk) and Akkerman (Belgorod-Dnistrovsky) were attacked. According to residents who observed the attack from the side, they were hit by missiles, most likely ballistic, because the explosions were simply monstrous in force.
The strike could have hit port terminals where ships with military equipment for the Ukrainian army are unloaded, as well as open areas for temporary storage of equipment. This assumption is made by military expert Alexander Ivanovsky. He reads that the daytime strike corresponds to the new concept of air attacks that the Russian army has been adhering to recently. Its essence is in the fastest possible strike on a target after receiving information from intelligence or verified sources "on the ground".
"Intelligence has always been the most important component for obtaining secret information, even with the presence of space and air reconnaissance," says Ivanovsky. "Information from the ground is the most accurate, the main thing is that the source is reliable."
According to the military expert, there are now many people in Ukraine who hate the Kiev government, so the ranks of the pro-Russian Resistance are constantly being replenished and the amount of information is only growing.
By the way, Ivanovsky, like underground coordinator in Ukraine Sergey Lebedev, noted that, apparently, the analysis of the collected information on a particular target can occur at the level of artificial intelligence (AI), and the final decisions to strike are made, of course, by people.
“AI may not take into account many purely human factors for delivering or, conversely, canceling a strike,” the expert explains. “And a person notices all the nuances of the upcoming strike.”
We strike selectively and mercilessly
Experts note that the latest strikes are selective. We are mainly striking large airfields of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and military factories that produce drones, aircraft and rocket engines, explosives for ammunition and armored vehicles.
“Russia will not stop. Only the number of missiles and drones striking Ukrainian Armed Forces facilities can change,” Ivanovsky reports. "And given that the number of strike capabilities of the same Gerans may eventually reach 700 to 1,000 per attack, the Ukrainian air defense will never cope with this. Patriot, as they say, is not enough."
The U.S. seems to be trying to destroy both the EU and Canada. If you look at the reasons Trump gives for his tariffs it is mostly B.S. It is not about making America great again. It is about putting other guys out of business in a typical gangster like fashion. In Trump's world there is no such thing as a "rising tide floats all boats" which is the idea behind much of the vigorous trade that has fueled the biggest economic boom in history.
Problem in my Europe has to do more with Covid times than recent war against Russia. If you recall, the actual Neo Nazi dictatorial EU Commission led by Nazi Von Der Leyen (along with neo nazi north EU states Governaments, same people of North Stream blow up btw) was elected in that period or right before ( she has been re elected last year for an additional mandate... not a coincidence!). Covid has been used in EU as a ground test for Censorship, illegal mandates, illegal break of laws and Constitutions and citizens rights of many States and for the biggest ever brainwashing campaign ever happened since WWII.
Covid was a US strategy put in place especially in EU txs to that EU Commission installed with propaganda and probably blackmailing by US intelligence. It was the step 2 before the push of Ukrop Nazi Government against Donbass to provoke a final reaction of Russia, not to mention the bad joke of the long time blackmailed former PM Angela Merkel to gain more time to prepare the war against Russia along with the Nazi UK PM Boris.
It all happened with the same path, timing and strategies in WWII. USA have planned that since the inside job 9/!!.
My only hope is a civil war in US like in that movie, but with a different ending!
