Russian air strikes always miss in Kiev's news rooms and US msm regurgitate the story. But in the real world, Ukraine is still losing.
Here’s the part that counts of your daily missile strike update
Today I will limit my report mostly to last night’s massive air strikes on Kiev. I normally start out with a translated report of air strikes throughout Ukraine, but today’s main news already relates to a very special air strike set, and I want you first to see how Western news covered it vs the Russian story followed by the rest of the story. BTW, Russia is hitting Ukraine harder than ever these days and that country is fast losing its military power and defense capability.
Here’s how the clueless CNN covered last night’s air strikes in Kiev:
Ukraine's military said its air defenses shot down 36 drones and missiles over Kyiv early Friday as air raid sirens sounded across Ukraine. Two people were injured by falling debris.
So, according to Kiev, nothing important happened, right?
However, back on planet earth, the reason Kiev was able to shoot down the first attacking weapons was that Russia routinely sends in two kinds of drones and/or missiles:
1—Firstly, decoys, generally drones but sometimes perhaps cheap slow flying cruise missiles, and then
2—Secondly, the kill missile or missiles.
This tactic has two goals:
1—To cause the Ukrainian air defenses to deplete valuable, scarce intercept missiles by firing at the decoys.
2—More importantly, to provide the actual kill missiles with precise data on the location of the air defenses. This is done electronically, by a scheme that I do not fully understand, but I surmise that the Ukrainian air defense system sends out signals that serve to locate and track the incoming drone or missile, and some of these signals are picked up either by the Russian kill missile itself or by a central network that communicates with the kill missile, enabling it to get a fix and locate the target. That is just a rough seat-of-the-pants guess based on what I have read on the Russian side about these strikes. The Russians aren’t about to disclose the minute details of their system.
So, yes, of course, the Ukrainian forces do indeed shoot down quite a few of these drones and/or missiles, but these first ones are the decoys, and each time they shoot one down, they are unwittingly helping the Russians kill the air defense system.
What the Ukrainian intel services (what’s left of them after the strike on May 30) and journos keep under their hats is that the air defense systems that accomplished these shootdowns are now gone, struck by the Russian kill missiles. Further, the story that comes from Ukrainian media is all that the US side – intel and msm – picks up.
Need I say that this is an incredibly stupid and reckless method of acquiring news from Ukraine, because it completely ignores reports from the Russian side, and consequently, US intel – which is supposed to enable a precise assessment of the enemy’s strength – completely fails its mission, allowing the Pentagon and other pertinent authorities to keep making the same mistakes as before, ie, sending more and more arms to Ukraine, which are typically destroyed by Russian precision weapons, aircraft or artillery, leaving the taxpayer on the hook for the cost – because, while you the news consumer are told that the arms sent to Ukraine are covered by a lend-lease program whereby Ukraine pays the bill for these after it supposedly wins the war, it is unlikely there will be a country identifiable as “Ukraine” after the Russians are finished achieving their goals in the war. It is therefore not a sure thing that there will be a pro-Western government in Kiev to pay the bills, and if there is a government in Kiev by that time, it probably will not be US-aligned and will dismiss all claims and demands to pay any money to the West.
This is the reality keen observers can foresee, but it is obscured by the msm and US intel services, which therefore are preparing the US for another shocking surprise of the kind we received from the Afghan debacle – only lots worse. Because this time, it is quite likely that the US will not be in a position to pay for the damage it caused by provoking Russia.
Each day brings us closer to the end game, with Western msm admitting that around 20 countries have submitted applications to join BRICS+, but a recent Russian publication bringing that number closer to 30! And if we remember that one of the main goals of the BRICS has always been to de-dollarize world trade, we can see a dollar crash on the horizon. The printing press will come to a standstill. Sanctions and other economic restrictions will fall by the wayside.
