Payback: Russia knows just how to repay the West for its provocations (save for reference)
EU’s top diplomat Josep Borrell has taken the world a giant step closer to WW III by calling for Europeans to give Kiev permission to strike inside Russia with Western supplied arms.
Borrell makes this scary step seem logical and reasonable by saying if Russia can hit Ukraine, then Ukraine should be able to do likewise to Russia.
Fair, right?
Not really, because Russia has been provoked and tricked in at least three Russophobic ways by Western diplomacy.
Firstly, in order to induce the Russian government to disband the Warsaw Pact, James Baker made a false promise to Russia never to bring NATO one inch toward the Russian border and President Clinton, who was known for breaking a solemn marital vow, broke an even more momentous promise and brought NATO to Russia’s doorstep.
Secondly, the Obama regime went into the Maidan in 2014 and turned a peaceful protest into a violent coup, and then proceeded to essentially appoint Neonazi politicians to lead the new replacement government for the illegally ousted neutral government that was purposely neither markedly pro-Western nor pro-Russian – something the Washington Neocons can’t tolerate.
Thirdly, either at a command from Washington or simply because Ukrainian Nazis are by nature Russia haters, the usurper regime started bombing and then shelling the rebellious Russian speakers in the Donbass region, killing thousands of them and destroying their homes. I compiled a substack post with videos showing examples of this shelling.
This went on for 8 years, with very little resistance offered by the Donbass citizens. It was one in a long series of US directly committed or supported genocides.
Meanwhile, the Russian people were pleading with Putin to do something, but he knew that any military action against Ukraine would unleash an unknown but strong reaction. However, in February 2022, the Duma backed the people’s fervent plea for military relief, transmitting the plea to Putin, and on Feb 24, the RF armed forces made their fateful move.
The Combined West’s sanctions response was supposed to destroy the Russian economy and bring Putin to his knees. It had all been planned for years but it failed dismally.
Newsweek reported on EU top diplomat Borrell’s response:
On Thursday, EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell spoke about Ukraine's ongoing war with Russia during a meeting in Brussels, where he said, "We need to lift restrictions on the use of weaponry against Russian military targets, in accordance with international law."
"The weaponry that we are providing to Ukraine has to have full use, and the restrictions have to be lifted in order for the Ukrainians to be able to target the places where Russia is bombing them. Otherwise, the weaponry is useless," Borrell said while speaking with reporters.
The U.S. imposes restrictions on Ukraine's use of the long-range ballistic missiles it provides, and some EU members also limit how their weapons are used. Meanwhile, Ukraine is eager to strike airfields and other military installations inside Russia that are used to launch attacks on its forces and civilians.
https://www.newsweek.com/map-us-cities-russia-strike-war-nuclear-1880758
Thus, Borrell hoped to compound the crime of engineering a coup and a genocide by military means.
Needless to say, if highly sensitive targets, such as the Kremlin, are hit by one of Borrell’s renegade missiles, all bets are off.
Russia could be goaded into a first strike on the West, which could target the US directly.
I am writing this as a warning to the reckless US-NATO leaders so that they will stop the provocations before it is too late. Russia’s options are better than yours!
In my post of August 29, 2024, https://donhank.substack.com/p/if-kievs-plan-to-launch-missile-strike, I wrote:
Tsargrad has revealed Kiev’s plan to abandon Donbass and launch a missile strike on the Kremlin.
If this happens, it will almost certainly be done in coordination with the Biden regime, which has now reached a crescendo of desperation and hysteria. Presidents worry about their legacy and Biden’s geopolitical performance doesn’t look all that illustrious.
I recently heard a pundit – don’t recall which one, but a well respected and trusted pundit among the dissidents – discussing what Russia might do if Kiev did something outlandishly awful such as allowing Ukraine to hit the Kremlin with a HIMARS strike. The pundit said some thought they might go so far as to strike Romania, for example. But he said, no, in that case, they would not strike in Europe. He confidently said that if Russia decided to go nuclear, Russia would strike Washington!
Now I don’t know how likely that would be, but if they did, then they would have to go the whole way. The list of possibilities in the following is for information and by no means intended as a recommendation. It is too awful to even contemplate, but is a possible reaction to a NATO attack by proxy on the Kremlin or other deep strike.
My purpose in listing these possibilities is to warn of the consequences of a reckless move on the part of the US-NATO + proxy.
To preclude with the utmost certainty that the US could strike back, I am fairly sure Russia would launch numerous strikes simultaneously, including, but not limited to:
1 – eliminating all military and dual-use communications, geolocating and ISR satellites, possibly using the S-550 or, more likely, the A-235 Nudol missile https://yandex.ru/video/preview/6013458309481654139
2 – snipping major undersea internet and other communications cables (remember Nord
3 –At the same time, launching tactical nukes or hypersonic missiles on all major US military planning and spy facilities – at least one or more each on the Pentagon, the CIA at Langley, all major US air bases, all known nuclear missile silos, the House and Senate, the White House, residences and offices of known powerful Neocons, Russophobes (are you ready to meet your maker, Lindsay?) and military decision makers.
4 – in close coordination with Iran and the Resistance axis, tactically nuking all military air bases in the Middle East and Asia (the tentative pre-planning would have to be early and practiced ahead of time and the final phone call to Iran would have to be made only a few minutes before launch)
5 – All US naval subs at large in the deep would have to be tracked early and reliably and would have to be neutralized simultaneously.
6 – All US and European aircraft carriers would have to be tracked for months before the strike and would then be sunk or disabled simultaneously along with their payload of aircraft and munitions.
7 – Optionally, the Doomsday sub Poseidon might be prepared to launch its nuclear armed torpedoes at the East and West coasts to create emergency situations that would tie up much of the military – or what’s left of it.
I am guessing that Russia would hold on launching its strategic ballistic missiles until such time as the enemy launched its nukes on Moscow or the like. Russia is averse to striking civilian targets (despite the lies reported by Kiev).
In the above passage, I might have added details from the following article from Newsweek.

Putin Warns of 'Full-Scale World War III' in Victory Speech
By David Brennan
Diplomatic Correspondent
Adirect clash between Russia and NATO would put the world "one step away from a full-scale World War III," Russian President Vladimir Putin told reporters this week as he celebrated a preordained victory in the country's presidential election and underscored his uncompromising Ukraine strategy.
The threat of nuclear escalation has been ever-present as the West continues to bolster Ukraine and frustrate the Kremlin's military campaign. For Moscow, the nuclear card has been useful in deterring deeper NATO involvement in the conflict. "Everything is possible in the modern world," Putin warned this week.
There is no indication that a nuclear confrontation between NATO and Russia is imminent. U.S. officials have repeatedly said they see no signs of Russia preparing to use nuclear weapons, regardless of the bellicose rhetoric employed by Putin and his Kremlin allies or the decision to deploy tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus.
A nuclear exchange would be disastrous for all involved. The Federation of American Scientists estimates that Russia has around 5,580 nuclear weapons, compared with the U.S.'s 5,428. Both are thought to have around 1,600 active deployed strategic nuclear warheads.
In 2019, Princeton's Science and Global Security program published a "Plan A" simulation of how a limited tactical nuclear exchange in Europe could escalate into a full-scale global nuclear conflict. It estimated that 91.5 million people would die within hours and many more in the months and years afterward.
A Russian nuclear strike on the U.S. homeland would look to decapitate American political and military leadership, sever vital command and control communication channels, nullify as many nuclear assets as possible, and devastate key industrial and commercial zones.
Washington, D.C., New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas-Fort Worth, Miami, Philadelphia, Houston, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Denver and Miami would likely be among the top metro area targets, given their mix of political, military and industrial value. Key radio transmitter facilities would serve as vital channels of communication to American nuclear ballistic missile submarines, which would be tasked with launching retaliatory strikes on Russian cities. The Jim Creek Naval Radio Station in Washington state and the Lualualei very low frequency transmitter in Hawaii would likely be top targets in this respect.
Russian ballistic missiles would likely target major military and nuclear sites such as Virginia's Naval Station Norfolk, the headquarters and home port of the U.S. Navy's Fleet Forces Command.
North American Air Defense Command headquarters at the Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, U.S. Strategic Command at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska and the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center at Hill Air Force Base in Utah would also be prime targets. So too would be the Pantex Plant in Amarillo, Texas, which serves as the U.S.'s primary nuclear weapons assembly and disassembly facility.
A wide range of nuclear missile sites are spread across the sparsely populated Western and Midwest states. Russian strikes would likely look to destroy nuclear-capable aircraft and other assets at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico, Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana, Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri, Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming, Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota and Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana.
My above post listing the numerous targets to be struck by Russian missiles mentions the cutting of undersea cables. I found the following article in Spanish.

Russia has threatened the West where it hurts the most. If someone cuts these submarine cables, no one has a plan B
All the great nations know that under the sea there is the great Trojan horse, but there is no clear regulation in case of a "blackout"

Miguel Jorge
I would say that there are currently two ways to reach the "digital apocalypse", understanding this as that generalized "blackout" that leaves us all without Internet and the economies of half the world trembling. The first, and more distant, would be that produced by our favorite star in the form of a large solar flare. The second, and perhaps not so distant, that someone literally "cuts" the indicated cables. In fact, Russia carried the threat a few weeks ago. And it is not the first time.
Turn off the network. It happened in June, when Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, issued the following statement via Telegram: “If we start from the proven complicity of Western countries in the blowing up of Nord Streams, then there are no restrictions – not even moral ones – to prevent us from destroying the cable communications of our enemies on the ocean floor.”
The context of that not-so-veiled warning came after Nord Stream 2, a famous gas pipeline that transfers gas from Russia to Germany, was blown to pieces. Russian officials seemed quick to identify the perpetrators, and accused the West of being involved in the attack. Later reports seemed to suggest that Ukraine was really behind it, but Medvedev’s words put back on the table a situation as unusual as it is scary. Can the cables of the network be cut to the whole of the West? In which case, the next question would go almost hand in hand: what the hell would happen?
The world's longest undersea power (not data) cable is already in operation: it connects Norway with the United Kingdom and measures 724 km
In Xataka
The world's longest submarine power (not data) cable is already in operation: it connects Norway with the United Kingdom and measures 724 km
A veiled decade. The truth is that it is not the first time we have heard something like this. Last year, an investigation came to light that indicated that Russia has been probing, for at least a decade, offshore wind farms, gas pipelines and submarine cable networks located between the Baltic Sea and the North Sea. Why? According to the investigations, the mapping is part of a Russian military program whose objective is to plan the sabotage of these facilities in the event of a confrontation with NATO.
The "cables" of the Internet. It is not trivial that, in the hypothetical case that a nation seeks to torpedo several things, they look for cables at the bottom of the sea. The reason is that the people responsible for your Internet at home provide more than 1 billion meters of submarine cable that different companies have been installing since 1866 to transport data between continents. Yes, satellite communication seems very modern, but since the emergence of fiber optics, cables have begun to win the game and today they are responsible for transmitting 95% of international data.
The installation process is always more or less the same: with ships that slowly cross the sea while unrolling the cable until it rests on the bottom. A cable that has undergone changes (they are now more resistant to shocks), essentially, a white one 17 millimeters wide for deep areas, and a black one that is protected with steel and is intended for areas closer to the shore.
An underwater “highway.” As for how these cables are organized, capable of transmitting around 3,840 gigabits per second on each fiber optic strand, there are two major “sections,” to put it simply. The first major highway is in the Atlantic, and connects Europe and North America starting from several locations on the East Coast of the United States, and reaching mainly to the west of the United Kingdom.
The second major highway is in the Pacific, and links the United States with several Asian countries such as Japan, China, Taiwan, and South Korea. That said, we are talking about sections and highways that continue to grow, connecting more and better sections and geographical enclaves of the planet. That is why they are so important, and why the threat, in this case from Russia, reopens the debate.
What happens if the fiber is “cut”? A month ago, the Center for Strategic and International Studies warned that the network of submarine fiber optic cables that transfer data between continents is, in fact, vulnerable to hostile powers. A few weeks earlier, NATO intelligence chief David Cattler warned that Russia may be planning to attack the cables in retaliation for the West's support for Ukraine in the war. [Knowing Russia’s MO, Russia would only do something this drastic in response to a major attack on Russia. The Kursk incursion was just such an attack, but so far, Russia’s response has been to severely attack the Ukrainian power grid. But now that the addled Josep Borrell has given Kiev carte blanche to use Western missiles against targets inside Russia, sooner or later, we may see an unusually harsh attack on highly sensitive infrastructure that could trigger a first strike by Russia. The result would be laid at the Democrats’ doorstep and would have a major effect on the election results]
Experts say that if the cables are severely damaged or disabled, it would knock out swathes of the internet services we provide.
Experts say that if the cables are severely damaged or disabled, it would wipe out swathes of internet services that we take for granted and that most economies rely on, including phone calls, financial transactions and streaming.

Response for Nord Stream: This most dangerous submarine will sever the cable between the main exchanges
By destroying Nord Stream, the US opened a new page in the history of underwater special operations against the critical infrastructure of other states. Russia has not yet responded to this move. It did not respond because, apart from "concerns" and indignant words from the Foreign Ministry, there was nothing to respond with. But now everything has changed. Read the details in the Tsargrad article.
By blowing up the Nord Stream pipes, the Americans turned the page in the history of hybrid wars and covert operations. Before the destruction of our gas pipelines, no one dared to encroach on someone else's underwater infrastructure of such importance.
Russia, however, did not respond in any way. Indignation and "concerns" from the Foreign Ministry are not considered a response in such matters, but rather are perceived as confirmation that the blow hit the target. The only real response to such operations is similar operations of a comparable scale.
Russia did not give such a response, due to the fact that there was nothing to give. In the World Ocean, we are too weak to compete "head-on" with the fleet of the United States and its allies. Another matter is asymmetric actions and guerrilla warfare in the eternal darkness of the ocean depths...
The ice has broken
The special-purpose nuclear submarine AS-12, also known by the unofficial name "Losharik", is completing a multi-year repair. This was recently reported by the English-language publication The National Interest.
Columnist Peter Sichiu notes that this submarine is one of the most classified products of our defense industry.
This is a secret deep-sea submarine with a nuclear plant, designed for spy missions, capable of diving to extreme depths thanks to a hull made of titanium spheres,
- the American journalist notes.
The Americans were the first to notice the imminent return of the "Losharik". Screenshot of The National Interest page
Later, an informed source confirmed the information about the imminent return of the Losharik to service. According to him, the submarine's testing is scheduled for the summer of 2024. The program includes diving to the maximum depth.
"Losharik": what are you?
The AS-12 submarine was designed by the Malakhit design bureau. Construction of the apparatus began in 1988, but then the "dashing nineties" came, so the boat was not put into operation until 2003.
The submarine has several key features that make it a unique tool for underwater special operations.
"Losharik" is capable of diving to a depth of 6,000 meters. For comparison, modern submarines have a maximum diving depth of about 600 meters. The ability to dive so deep is ensured by the design of a durable hull consisting of seven titanium spheres, which are covered from the outside by a streamlined lightweight hull.
The habitable volume of the submarine is located in seven titanium spheres; this is what gave the AS-12 its nickname. Screenshot from the Russian Submarine TG channel
The submarine has a nuclear reactor, which provides enormous autonomy. Only bathyscaphes can operate at a depth of six kilometers - small devices that can accommodate literally several people and have an autonomy of tens of hours at best. "Losharik" is capable of carrying out missions lasting up to several months, and its crew consists of 25 people.
The submarine has very good acoustic stealth performance. At its optimal depths and speed, the AS-12 is practically undetectable by modern equipment. American experts assume that the boat has wheels on which it can literally roll along the bottom. Therefore, detecting the device is an extremely difficult task.
As far as is known, "Losharik" has no weapons, but it is equipped with manipulators and surveillance equipment that allow it to work with objects overboard, including cables laid along the seabed.
Tragic incident
The unique submarine was repaired in 2019, after a major fire broke out on it on July 1. 14 submariners died fighting the fire. The crew, made up entirely of officers, lost more than half of its members, but returned the unique boat to base. The hull and nuclear reactor of the submarine were not damaged in the fire.
In 2020, the partially burnt-out "Losharik" was repaired at the Zvezdochka plant. According to reports at the time, the repair work was planned to be completed this year, and the submarine was to be taken out for testing next year. But the submarine was returned to service before this.
We will cut you and drag you away
In fact, the Losharik is an underwater saboteur of strategic range. For operations in remote areas of the World Ocean, the AS-12 can dock with a nuclear submarine - a carrier, which can be several modernized submarines of the Kalmar, Dolphin and Antey projects.
How an underwater operation using the Losharik can take place is clear from the example of the 2021 incident, when the Norwegians unexpectedly discovered that someone had cut the cables of the bottom marine situation monitoring system.
This system consists of many hydroacoustic stations and video cameras that transmitted real-time information to the shore about ships passing in the Barents Sea, including our submarines.
The investigation showed that an unknown attacker disabled the network over a distance of 66 km. Moreover, the villain did not just cut it, but took 10 tons of cable with him, which excluded a quick repair of the network.
Good if it is true. Western sources have already confirmed yesterday: someone had a good time with the Norwegian submarine detection system. And, most importantly, the enemy did not notice anything. This can be due to various reasons: for example, the news turns out to be fake, or someone skillfully "hacked" the system while it was being cut and pulled out, noted the TG channel "Naval Power of the State".
Why was the approaching submarine not detected? Well, for example, either see above, or competent acoustic camouflage.
A world without Internet?
Can "Losharik" do something similar with the cables lying on the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean and connecting the London and New York Stock Exchanges? The question is rhetorical.
In 2017, the laying of the Marea cable was completed, which connected the American state of Virginia with the Spanish city of Bilbao. The average depth of the communications was 3.3 km, and the length was 6,600 km. From these figures it is clear that the AC-13 will easily reach the cable along most of the route, the security of which is virtually impossible due to the enormous length.
Does this mean that "Losharik" can sever the Internet connection between Europe and North America?
The fact is that currently 95% of the world's Internet traffic is transmitted via underwater fiber-optic cables. More than 550 cables with a total length of 1.3 million km are laid along the ocean floor.
The main underwater cables of the world. Screenshot from the portal flowingdata.com
It is impossible to destroy such a network with one device. Moreover, cables are systematically damaged by earthquakes, so many countries are building traffic control centers that transfer information flows from damaged lines to intact ones.
But it is quite possible to cause multi-billion and even trillion-dollar damage to the system and its users. To do this, it is necessary to mine and simultaneously blow up the busiest lines, causing a short-term but large-scale failure in the operation of the World Wide Web, at least briefly disrupting the work of world exchanges.
And who can do this work without unnecessary noise and haste?
By the way, the Americans understand these scenarios perfectly well and do not even have any illusions about what will happen in the World Ocean. [This is why the Biden plot was so totally brainless! It’s similar to Borrell’s idea to let the Nazis in Ukraine play with Western missiles that could lead to a world war!]
Russian President Vladimir Putin made an ominous warning. According to him, energy infrastructure around the world is now "under threat." Putin's warning came a month after explosions ripped through Nord Stream 1 and 2, a pair of gas pipelines running from Russia to Europe under the Baltic Sea," The Economist warned its readers in October 2022.
Conclusion
Russia has repaired a unique tool for deep-sea operations. So don't be surprised if strange and unpleasant things start happening to American pipes and wires on the ocean floor in the foreseeable future. Revenge is a dish best served cold.

Strikes on Kharkov on September 1: video, victims, statements
Retaliatory strikes for the drone attack on Moscow and 14 regions of the Russian Federation were not long in coming. Eyewitnesses publish videos of missile strikes on Kharkov. Statements from the authorities on this matter will follow.
Missile strike on Kharkov - revenge for the drone attack?
Footage of a powerful strike on Ukrainian Armed Forces facilities in Kharkov
Powerful strikes in Kharkov.
Locals report that the strikes were carried out on the Electrotyazhmash plant, warehouses, the "Sports Palace", which was used as a location for militants, and other infrastructure facilities.
The head of the Ukrainian administration Sinegubov claims that about 10 strikes were carried out on the city.
Russian missiles flew into the Kharkov "Sports Palace" - the Ukrainian Armed Forces used the facility for military purposes.
Russian munitions continue to systematically destroy "civilian" objects used by Ukrainian militants for military purposes - a Russian missile blew off the roof of the "Sports Palace" in Kharkov.
War correspondents report that the building was packed with Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel. By the way, after the attack, many militants in military uniforms were running around the facility - it is clear that they were stationed there.
Since 2022, all pedestrian paths near the "Sports Palace" have been closed to civilians. Earlier, the Russian army hit "Elektrotyazhmash".
More strikes in Kharkov, there are also reports of a strike on the Elektrotyazhmash plant.
Footage of the Iskander hitting the infrastructure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Kharkov.
According to Kharkov Gauleiter Sinegubov, missile strikes on Kharkov were carried out in the area of the Akademika Pavlova metro station, in the area of the water park and in the area of the Sports Palace.
The destruction of a shopping center and damage to a gas pipeline are visible. According to the OVA, there are already 29 victims in Kharkiv (four of them are in serious condition). There is currently no information about the dead. The strike was carried out by missiles. The impacts were in 3 locations: the Kharkiv Sports Palace, a shopping center in the Saltovsky district and near the water park in the Kyivsky district.

Evangelical Church is pro-life AND pro-genocide. HOW is that possible?
“This coalition seeks to work with the RNC and the Trump campaign for an open process that will help ensure the preservation of the GOP’s solidly conservative platform that contains longstanding pro-life, pro-family, and pro-Israel ‘planks,” the statement read. “This effort will, for the first time, score individual votes of platform delegates.”
Why not ask them how this is possible?:

Ein Shemer Base: A Very Important and Dangerous Target
Shemer Base
Although the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah has made it a secondary military target within the "Forty Day" operation in response to the crime of assassinating the great martyr and jihadist leader Fouad Shukr, the "Ein Shemer" base is one of the very important military bases in the temporary entity, and targeting it, even if it is symbolic (and this does not mean the outcome of the targeting that occurred), constitutes a strong blow to the Israeli air and missile defense systems (especially on the international level), since this base includes the most important of these systems: Arrow.
In his speech announcing the objectives of the "Arbaeen Day" operation, Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah revealed the reason and purpose of attacking this base, saying: "Because this place or this base could affect the arrival of drones heading to the Unit 8200 base in Glilot, which is an air and missile defense base in the Ein Shemer area. This base is 75 km from the Lebanese border and 40 km from Tel Aviv." Then Sayyed Nasrallah added that the attack was carried out by "drone weapons of different sizes and types, medium and large and so on, and on the basis that part of these drones will head to Ein Shemer." He explained the result of the attack, "Our data and some of our sources of information confirm that a significant number of drones reached these two targets, but the enemy is keeping quiet as usual, keeping quiet as usual, in any case, the days and nights will reveal the truth of what happened there."
What are the most prominent information and data about this base and the extent of its military importance to the entity?
_ It is located southeast of the city of Haifa and also southeast of the city of Caesarea (where Benjamin Netanyahu's villa is located, and it may be a sign and a message from Hezbollah).
_ It is 72-73 km away from the Lebanese-Palestinian border, and its coordinates are as follows:
32.440972439665835, 35.008219621009445
_ International Road No. 6 (which the entity named after Yitzhak Rabin) passes near it.
_ Its area is about 3 square kilometers, and it includes a runway for drones, a facility for an Arrow missile interception battery equipped with long-range radar, and the headquarters of the regular regional infantry brigade "Menashe-431", also known as the Jenin Brigade of the West Bank Division.
_ The base belongs to the Israeli Air Force, but it does not house any fighter jets or helicopters, only drones, and a defensive missile battery equipped with a long-range radar. The runway is 1,216 meters long, and the base's height above sea level is 29 meters / 90 feet.
_ Between 1942 and 1948, it was operated by the British Royal Air Force (RAF).
_ After the establishment of the entity in 1948, the airport was reduced in size and operated as a small civilian airport for decades, then the Israeli occupation army took over the base again in the early 2000s. Since then, the runway has only been used for drones.
In 2002, the base housed a full Arrow 2 anti-ballistic missile battery that includes about 150-200 Arrow 2 Block 4 missiles with several launchers, a Great Pine (Super Green Pine) radar with a range of 1,000 kilometers, and its "Citron Tree" battle management system. The Arrow battery is operated by the Israeli Air Force's Air Defense Command Unit
A drone training facility was opened there at the same time, and a few years later, this facility was moved to Palmachim. The base also includes a Heron drone control station, and contains several hangars for parking and maintenance.
_ In mid-2024, the New York Times reported that researchers at the University of Texas identified this base as responsible for jamming the Global Positioning System (GPS) in the Middle East during the Battle of the Flood of Al-Aqsa.

Damascus and Sana'a, a colorful identity... in one production
Yemen and Syria
Should major events, political turns, bloody shocks, dark corners, and arduous challenges produce unique positions for two peoples who were part of the general history process in its political, social, and cultural fields?
As soon as Sana'a and Damascus are mentioned, the listener and viewer see a story full of civilization, history, values, principles, authenticity, and antiquity, a story that only the people of the same biography and what happened to it in reality can understand. The fact is that our time was not beautiful and bright for both countries, but satisfaction with it is less than the size of the difficulties and the heaping annoyances, and how if something more serious and bitter is added to all of the above, and nothing helped us to bear its bitterness except dreams of getting out of it to a more abundant, noble, and courageous time.
There are common denominators between Syria and Yemen, including their affiliation to the axis of resistance that confronts the United States of America and its agents in the region, ending its influence and direct military presence, breaking the rules of the siege and starvation imposed by the West and its allies in the region, the aggression of the neighbor against its neighbor and its interference in internal affairs in an absurd manner and stirring up strife among the people of the same country such as Saudi Arabia and Turkey. Accordingly, it is worth noting what these two countries have done regarding what is happening in Gaza to date, despite their important position in playing regional roles in stopping the war on the besieged Strip, the absolute hostility to the Zionist entity, condemning it in all forums and arenas and working to remove it and return the usurped land to the Palestinian people, the strategic location of both countries in the Red Sea and the Mediterranean Sea, the important position for crossing to the West Asia region, and Yemen's control over the Bab al-Mandab Strait through which global trade passes. A tax paid by the two peoples as a result of the honorable positions towards the injustice of the Palestinian people, and their right to land and life, but the courage of the position requires preferring the right over the gains of injustice and tyranny, despite the human losses and the destruction of infrastructure at all levels, from public facilities, places of worship, and homes over the course of more than a decade in Syria, and nearly a decade in Yemen, repeated scenes of the American and British aggression targeting defenseless civilians, children, the elderly, and women in the face of unjustified international and Arab silence, and the almost daily targeting of Syrian cities by Israeli aircraft, and the support of extremist organizations to shed Syrian blood and dissolve it in bloody conflicts, and the imposition of starvation sanctions against those who remained on their land between two sieges: death by killing, or death by starvation. The means of killing, destruction and displacement were many, but the failure was one. The results that the two peoples reached were not satisfactory to the Israeli, American and Western enemies. Rather, the opposite of what was expected was the victories achieved by the Yemeni people in destroying the enemy's missile force. Many years of pride, strength and dignity were met with victory and military manufacturing of cruise missiles, drones and various military equipment. Nine years of supplying the fronts of pride with men and money tirelessly, met with warning and advice speeches from Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, relying on God, the Almighty and the Mighty. However, the aggression continued to be arrogant and haughty, so the result was the breaking of the aggressors' backbone despite their noses with a defeat that can be described as humiliation, smallness and insult. It is no wonder that victory was achieved by wise leadership supported by dreams and insight. The birth of glory that the Yemenis established is no different from their brothers in Syria, which was represented by a structure that was difficult to breach on the internal level, and on the external level, Damascus remained a non-politicized force, far from the principle of dependency and colonialism, and what we see today of the strength of the Syrian people and leadership did not come by chance, but rather it is a leadership project led by political and military alliances with the axis of resistance, which has proven its effectiveness and great impact recently within the conflicting scene on the Syrian arena, in defeating the terrorist organizations of "ISIS" and its sisters with a new birth for Damascus in which victory was proven, and the steadfastness of the Syrians in the face of the conspiracy against it, and its refusal to accept the policy of the fait accompli based on the developments that the region has witnessed recently and the consolidation of the regional role in the region. What we see today of the strength of the two capitals, Damascus and Sana'a, did not come by chance, but rather is a leadership project established by the axis of resistance despite the global hostility to this axis, and the implementation of the plans of the destructive hurricane, and the division that was intended by countries with agendas represented in the destruction and destabilization of the region. It is not surprising that the strength that the two leaderships have reached on the political and military levels, despite all the bad conditions that the two countries suffer from, and the decline of the economy resulting from inflation and the international siege. The difference is clear and evident between the culture of resistance and the culture of surrender, and steadfastness only produces the birth of the process of the birth of victory.
