Russia launches massive strategically important strikes, while Ukraine fiddles around with meaningless terror attacks
The stark contrast between Ukraine’s attacks on civilians and Russia’s strikes on militarily significant infrastructure is emblematic of the ineffectual West vs the vibrant, robust Russia.
The genocide in Gaza takes this tendency even further. We can almost say the US no longer does war. It only attacks the weak.
This illustrates the reason Ukraine is losing the war.

Waves of retaliatory strikes have once again covered Ukraine, and the country's largest armored tank plant lies in ruins: Updated map of the military operation in Ukraine and events in the world
March 23, 2024 Yulia Sokolova
At the dawn of a new day, even before the first rays of the sun, the sky over Ukraine was illuminated not by welcoming rays, but by the gloomy reflections of Russian missiles and Geran drones. In less than thirty minutes, the seemingly calm air raid map quickly changed its color from peaceful green to alarming red, writes aif.ru.
Ukraine's largest tank factory lies in ruins
Analysis of the situation at the front and in the world on March 23, 2024 and Operation Z: Military Correspondents of the Russian Spring
The most powerful retaliation strike hit Ukraine: more than 150 objects were damaged
Fighting on the border: during attempts to break through, the enemy lost more than 3,000 militants killed and wounded in a week
The explosions were heard throughout the country, covering cities such as Kharkov, Zaporozhye, Krivoy Rog, Kyiv, Khmelnitsky, Ivano-Frankivsk, Sumy and Dnepropetrovsk. Reports of destruction at military facilities and critical infrastructure came one after another.
According to the Ukrainian agency UNIAN, Kharkov faced not only explosions, but also subsequent power outages and problems in the water supply system. Similar news came from other regions, including Dnipro and the Khmelnitsky oblast, where explosions also disrupted the daily lives of citizens.
Ukraine's air defense system came under enormous pressure due to the scale and intensity of the attack, which led to lapses in its operation. Tension in the air is growing, the attack continues, and the population awaits further actions and decisions from the authorities.
Ukraine's largest tank factory lies in ruins
Last night, Ukraine was subjected to a large-scale missile attack. The coordinator of the underground group in Nikolaev, Sergei Lebedev, reported on the first consequences of this operation, citing data received from local residents.
Kharkov experienced difficult moments: two thermal power plants and production facilities of factories involved in the production and repair of armored vehicles were damaged. As a result, the city has no electricity, no mobile communications and problems with water supply.
In Odessa, defense lines on the coast were destroyed, as well as buildings where foreign mercenaries and representatives of radical groups were located.
Zaporozhye faced attacks on the Motor Sich plant, known for the production of drones and missiles, and the infrastructure of the Dnieper Hydroelectric Power Plant was shaken. [Although this article is dated Mar 23, these strikes were reported in yesterday’s newsletter (?)]
In the Ivano-Frankivsk oblast, missile attacks destroyed airfield structures near Kolomyia, and in Kremenchug and the Zhytomyr oblast, an oil depot and a military airfield were hit, respectively.
Dnepropetrovsk suffered serious damage as a result of an explosion at one of the production enterprises, and in Krivoy Rog and the Khmelnitsky oblast, missiles hit military facilities, including destroying military equipment and infrastructure, pronedra.ru clarifies.
Analysis of the situation at the front and in the world on March 23, 2024 and Operation Z: Military Correspondents of the Russian Spring
The most powerful retaliation strike hit Ukraine: more than 150 objects were damaged
In response to the attacks against them, the [Russian] armed forces launched a decisive retaliatory strike against key Ukrainian infrastructure, affecting the country's energy network. More than 150 facilities were damaged as a result of the operation, including facilities of the state company Ukrenergo in various oblasts, such as Zaporozhye and Odessa. This led to large-scale fires at thermal and hydroelectric power plants, leaving hundreds of thousands of households without electricity.
Among the affected facilities are about 20 electrical substations and large power plants, including the DneproGES. Prime Minister Shmygal confirmed the extent of the damage at a government meeting. Naftogaz facilities were also attacked, which led to damage to gas pipelines and the loss of power to several facilities, according to the head of the board, A. Chernyshev. The facility of the Centerenergo company was also damaged.
During the attack, significant aviation was involved: missiles were launched from the Volgograd oblast using Tu-95ms and Tu-22m3 strategic bombers, as well as MiG-31 fighters equipped with Kinzhal missiles. This strike was the largest missile attack on the power grid of the Kharkov oblast since the outbreak of hostilities, as a result of which Kharkov and several other oblasts were left without power supply.
This event highlights the severity of the current conflict and its devastating impact on infrastructure and civilians, raising international concerns about further escalation of violence and humanitarian consequences.

On the night of March 23, the Russian army carried out a number of missile and drone strikes on Ukrainian Armed Forces targets
Explosions are reported in Kharkov, Kremenchug and Kyiv-controlled Kherson
On the night of March 22-23, powerful explosions were heard in the territory of Kharkov, Kremenchug and the city of Kherson occupied by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is evidenced by data from both Russian military officers and Ukrainian media.
Streams of information about strikes in Kharkov appeared around midnight. Half an hour later, updated data arrived, and explosions occurred in Kremenchug. In addition, Ukrainian media reported about explosions that occurred in the Russian Kherson, controlled by Kyiv. At the same time, reports appeared about the movement of the Geran unmanned aerial vehicle over Ukrainian territories.
As it turned out later, there was a whole group of drones that flew over the Nikolaev oblast towards the Kirovograd oblast, while several more drones flew towards the Nikolaev oblast from the Russian Kherson oblast. There is no information yet about the results of the Geran's arrival.
It is possible that the Russian army hit military targets and infrastructure used by Ukraine. There is no information yet about the consequences of these raids, however, it is likely that the locations of Ukrainian formations and ammunition depots in the Kharkov and Kirovograd oblasts of Ukraine were attacked.

A man detained on suspicion of a terrorist attack at Crocus said that he was offered 500 thousand rubles
A man detained on suspicion of a terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall said that he was offered 500 thousand rubles for killing people. This became known from the video of his interrogation, published in the telegram channel of RT editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan.
According to him, he committed the crime in Crocus for money. Of the promised funds, he received half of the amount on a bank card, the other half was promised to be transferred to him later, the detainee specified and added that he lost the card while fleeing from law enforcement officers in the forest.
“He (the curator – editor’s note) wrote that he promised about a million rubles,” he later said, speaking about the promised amount for the crime.
The man also admitted that he arrived from Turkey on March 4 this year.
“The documents ran out there (in Turkey – editor’s note), so I crossed the border here,” said the detainee.
In the published footage, he can be heard saying his name, which sounds similar to Fariddun Shamsutdin, as well as his date of birth - September 17, 1998.
On the evening of March 22, 2024, unknown persons attacked Crocus City Hall. They opened fire in the building and started a fire.
According to the Russian Investigative Committee, 115 people died as a result of the terrorist attack.
A criminal case has been opened. On Saturday, March 23, terrorists were detained in the Bryansk oblast. They tried to cross the border of the Russian Federation and Ukraine.
Me:
Another source said that these suspects were detained as they tried to cross the border from Russia to Ukraine, although the US officially denies, citing the CIA, that the group has ties to Ukraine. How could the US know more about this group than the Russian FSB itself. Something fishy here.

The nuclear civilization is today storming the global genocide pinnacle, the approach to which was first begun by Adolf Hitler, whose laurels have haunted his diligent followers from the USA and NATO for almost 80 years. Before taking over the top, their commanders-in-chief conduct preparatory exercises of ethnic genocide, winning for themselves the “highest” popular titles of “butchers” and “monsters” dreaming of the nuclear button for planetary genocide.

My comment: Remember what happened to the illegal settlement Kiryat Shmona?
It was fired on by Hezbollah from the border with Lebanon and had to be evacuated, all 23,000 inhabitants. That settlement is close to Lebanon, but if Hezbollah receives long-range missiles from Iran, ALL of Israel could be reached and all these settlements could be depopulated! They are ALL on Palestinian land.

Israel’s far-right finance minister, Bezalel Smotrich, announced the seizure of 10 square kilometers (3.8 square miles) of Palestinian territory in the West Bank on Friday. The move marks the single largest land seizure by the Israeli government since the 1993 Oslo accords, according to Peace Now, a settlement watchdog group.
“While there are those in Israel and the world who seek to undermine our right over the Judea and Samaria area and the country in general,” Smotrich said Friday, referring to the territory by its biblical name, “we are promoting settlement through hard work and in a strategic manner all over the country.”
The CML represents hundreds of students and consists of more than 40 organizations within Cornell University's Ithaca Campus and the surrounding community.

TikToker tells illegal immigrants how to 'invade' American homes and invoke squatter's rights | 21 March 2024 | A migrant TikToker with a 500,000-strong online following is offering his comrades tips on how to "invade" unoccupied homes and invoke squatter's rights in the United States. Venezuelan national Leonel Moreno, who appears to live in a suburb of Columbus, Ohio, said in a recent video that under U.S. law, "if a house is not inhabited, we can seize it." He appeared to be referring to adverse possession laws, commonly known as squatter's rights, which allow unlawful property occupants rights over the property they occupy without the owner's consent, in certain circumstances. Moreno claimed in the viral TikTok clip, which has drawn more than 3.9 million views, that he has "African friends" who have "already taken about seven homes." [Why hasn't this nut-job been deported?]
My comment:
This is in line with what the US has supported in Israel. Real estate was stolen from Palestine in 1948 to hand over to the Jews, who claimed they were there first, even though they had not returned for 2000 years.
Do you believe in Karma? You know, what goes around comes around.
If you do, then you might think what is happening now in the US, with Americans being forced to forfeit their real estate to illegal immigrant squatters.
One might have predicted that any government that allows squatters to seize land in a foreign country might eventually get around to repeating this scenario among its own people.
We allowed violence and theft in the Middle east and now the chickens are coming home to roost.

Link to alkhanadeq article on resistance bombing power stations
Thursday 21 March 2024 04:12
If you bomb our power stations, we will bomb your electricity
“If you bomb our power stations, we will bomb your electricity,” a formula of deterrence against Israel launched by the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, on February 16, 2010, during his speech on the anniversary of the martyrs’ leaders, which will make the interim entity face a very difficult reality during any period. A future war: The destruction of two Lebanese stations, “Deir Ammar” and “Al-Zahrani,” whose current production does not exceed 300 to 400 megawatts, in exchange for the destruction of more than 52 stations in occupied Palestine that provide about 19.4 gigawatts (i.e. 49 times what the Lebanese stations produce).
Indeed, the Lebanese have the right to mock the occupation entity’s threats to return their country to the Stone Age, thanks to the resistance’s ability to strike the occupation on the one hand, and because of the state’s accumulated inability to develop this sector.
What is the most prominent and important information about electrical power stations in the occupying entity?
There are 5 electrical power plants along the coast of occupied Palestine (most of them are thermal):
1) Orot Rabin Station - Hadera (32.466667°, 34.886111°):
A) It is the largest station in the occupying entity. It began generating electricity in 1981, and it provides 2,605 megawatts of electrical energy by generating it from coal. It was built on the beach so that it could use seawater for cooling, and a special dock was built next to it to unload the coal needed to operate it from cargo ships.
b) It contains 6 chimneys, the four tallest of which are 250-300 meters high and can be seen from afar.
C) It is about 73 km from the Lebanese border.
2) Rothenberg Station – Ashkelon (31.6275°, 34.516111°):
A) It is the second largest station in the occupying entity in terms of energy. It began generating electricity in 1990, and it provides 2,290 megawatts of electrical energy by generating it from coal through 4 units.
It was built on the beach so that it could use seawater for cooling, and a special dock was built next to it to unload the coal needed to operate it from cargo ships.
b) It contains two chimneys.
C) It is about 172 km away from the Lebanese border, while it is only approximately 6 km away from the Gaza Strip, and this is what made it a target for launching Palestinian resistance rockets.
During the “Eating Storm” battle in 2014, several missiles hit the station area and caused damage to it.
3) Reading – Jaffa Station (32.102778°, 34.778889°):
A) It is located north of Tel Aviv, next to the mouth of the Auja River (Yarkon in Hebrew).
B) It provides 428 megawatts and runs on gas.
C) It is about 114 km from the Lebanese border.
4) Alon Tabor Station (32.633511°, 35.367544°):
A) It is located in the Marj Ibn Amer region in northern occupied Palestine (in Hebrew, Jezreel Valley).
B) It operates on the combined cycle, and produces electricity using natural gas up to 583 megawatts.
C) It is about 47 km from the Lebanese border.
5) Gezer Power Station (31.914167°, 34.915833°):
A) It is located in the central area of occupied Palestine, near the city of Ramla.
b) It produces electricity using natural gas up to 1336 megawatts.
C) It is about 134 km from the Lebanese border.
6)Dalia-Tzafit Power Station (31.714167°, 34.842778°):
A) It is located in the central area of occupied Palestine, near the Tal Al-Safi area.
B) It operates on the combined cycle, and produces electricity using natural gas up to 900 megawatts.
C) It is about 155 km from the Lebanese border.
7) Eshkol Station (31.847486°, 34.66195°):
A) It is located north of the port of Ashdod on the occupied Palestinian coast, and produces about 15% of the entity’s electricity production.
b) It operates on steam and combined cycle, and produces electricity up to 1693 megawatts.
C) It is about 146 km from the Lebanese border.
8) Haggett Station (32.617339°, 35.040419°):
A) It is located near the Carmel Mountains, in the south of Haifa.
B) It runs on natural gas and produces electricity up to 1,394 megawatts.
C) It is about 55 km from the Lebanese border.
9) Haifa Station (32.81175°, 35.021778°):
A) It is the first steam station to generate electricity in occupied Palestine, as it was built in 1925.
B) It produces electricity up to 828 megawatts.
C) It is about 33 km from the Lebanese border.
10) Ashlem - Negev stations (30.96502°, 34.72602°):
A) The plants combine 3 types of electricity production processes: a solar thermal power plant, a photovoltaic power plant, and a natural gas generating plant.
B) It produces electricity up to 312 megawatts.
C) It is about 240 km from the Lebanese border.
11) Wind farms - the occupied Golan (33.163333°, 35.796944°):
A) A wind farm that includes thirty wind turbines to produce electricity in the northern occupied Golan Heights.
b) It is expected to produce electricity of up to 100 megawatts.
C) It is about 18 km from the Lebanese border.

230,000 illegal settlers in northern Israel evacuated due to Hezbollah shelling
It’s the Nakba in reverse. In 1948, European Jewish terrorists perpetrated atrocities, forcing 700,000 Palestinians to flee their homeland, which the combined West then called “Israel” after European Jews settled there illegally. The US, whose millions-strong Evangelical church believed in a Satanic doctrine now known as “Christian” Zionism, forced UN members to vote in favor of recognizing this criminal enterprise “Israel” as a nation.
The uprooted people called this forced removal, which was based on wholesale murder wiping out whole villages, the Nakba, which means catastrophe in Arabic.
Concise documentary of the Nakba:
Now Hezbollah is turning the tables on the Israelis.
The genocide-supporting US regime calls Hezbollah a terrorist organization, but that is a LIE. Hezbollah is part of the resistance, which resists Israeli terror.

Turning the World Right-Side-Up
by David Shavin (EIRNS) — Mar. 21, 2024
March 21, 2024 (EIRNS)—On January 26, the International Court of Justice found that there was solid ground for the charge of genocide by Israel against Palestinians in Gaza. That same day, Israel alleged that UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East), the key aid agency holding back the pace of the genocide, had 12 of its 30,000 employees with some connection to Hamas’s Oct. 7 assault on Israel. UNRWA summarily dismissed all the 12 employees, without contesting the sketchy allegations of the accounts of Israel’s evidence, apparently in the hope that the Western powers would be content with the sacrifice.
Over the last eight weeks, the Israeli government ignored the ICJ’s provisional orders, in particular, orders to provide the food, water, and medicine sufficient to deal with the malnutrition and disease, while more than a dozen Western nations simply cut off all of their funding of the UNRWA. There’s something upside-down about this picture.
Yesterday, the Secretary-General of the UN stated that the independent investigation of UNRWA has now shown, as expected, that it is well-equipped “to ensure compliance with the Humanitarian Principle of neutrality,” and that the commission has identified the specific improvements to be dealt with.
So, where are the headlines about countries now jubilant that they can restore funding to UNRWA, the most immediate and efficient logistical capability to wage war on the desperate hunger, the diseases, and the deaths by starvation? And while there was no need to underline the point, surely enough, this morning the emergency U.S. budget to be voted on tomorrow forbids any funding for UNRWA for the next year!
The UN Security Council heard, on March 19, of the horror in Sudan, pushed out of coverage by the Western media, as our poor populations can barely handle what is happening in Gaza. According to the UN, about 730,000 Sudanese children are thought to suffer from severe malnutrition, more than 8 million people are displaced, and a record 18 million are facing acute food insecurity, even during their harvest season. In Haiti, the CEO of the Hospital Albert Schweitzer explained to ABC News that with “the ports shut down, there is now real concern that Port-au-Prince could actually run out of food and other essential supplies in the next two weeks.” A woman who has fled the violence, and has taken refuge in an abandoned government building is interviewed: “We are dying of hunger. The babies are dying of hunger. The disabled are dying of hunger. The young are dying of hunger. Everyone is dying of hunger. We can’t help each other.”
The ugliness and danger of the present situation requires an unflinching, resolute optimism that, as Friedrich Schiller put it, mankind was indeed born for something better. Last week’s International Peace Coalition deliberations provided a glimmer of that hope, driving a wedge in between hope and despair. Tomorrow, the IPC convenes an emergency meeting, in a “red alert” mobilization, leading the fight to fashion a way forward. That report will appear here tomorrow.
Meanwhile, study, as if your life—and many other lives—depended on it, the core of the solution, beginning with the 14-minute video overview of the “Oasis Plan”, and circulate it far and wide. Once this world gets turned right-side-up, you may wonder why we didn’t do that sooner.
