Russian military analyst sees 4 not very good options for a Russian response to the Western decision to allow Ukraine to strike deep in Russia with Western arms
One option is retaliation with tactical nukes. What then? The US-led West escalates for political reasons but ignores possible consequences. US “democracy” is poorly suited for problem solving.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THE SMO [Special Military Operation] AFTER THE HARD DECISION OF THE WEST: “FOUR NOT VERY GOOD OPTIONS” SUGGESTED BY ZHIVOV
Alexey Zhivov explained what will happen to the Northern Military District after the tough decision of the West. A military volunteer voiced “four not very good options” for the development of events.
Military volunteer Alexey Zhivov explained in the program “Tsargrad The Main Thing” what will happen to the Northern Military District after the tough decision of the West, which openly allowed Ukraine to strike Russia with weapons supplied by NATO countries.
Now even those territories of our country over which Moscow’s sovereignty is not in doubt by the United States and its satellites may be targeted by long-range missiles Storm Shadow, Taurus, HIMARS and others.
That is, we are talking about a very serious escalation of the conflict. Zhivov voiced “four not very good options” for how the special operation against this background will develop in the future:
Option one. Russia will one way or another carry out an operation to strike with tactical nuclear weapons against Ukraine and its allies, as some bloggers suggest.
According to the source of First Russian, it is not at all excluded that, oddly enough, this is exactly what Washington is trying to achieve:
They are trying to lead us to use an arsenal of tactical nuclear weapons. The United States has been moving us forward along a narrowing corridor of opportunity from the very beginning. Will this lead to a third world war? Completely optional. This could lead, for example, to a complete blockade of both the official and shadow Russian merchant fleet. The latter, by the way, is even larger. This could lead to the transfer of tactical nuclear warheads to Ukraine for a retaliatory strike. This could lead to an attempt to organize the complete cultural, social, and economic isolation of our country as an alleged universal evil.
Then the military volunteer voiced the second scenario, in which, against the background of escalating confrontation, Russia can mobilize the entire economy and a significant part of its citizens, from 1 million to 1.5 million people.
After all, it is necessary to create a sanitary zone extending up to Kiev, as [Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council] Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev said. He literally said that taking into account the supply of long-range missiles, apparently, a sanitary zone would have to be created up to Kiev. To extend it to Kiev, much more serious resources are needed, Zhivov explained. [A sanitary – or buffer – zone would be a zone to which Ukrainian forces would have no access and could therefore not go there to fire long-range missiles. In reality, though, to protect Russia against the longest-range missiles, all of Ukraine might have to be controlled by Russia, and I suspect that is what the Russian military is up to. I therefore have always believed that Russia will not stop until it controls all of Ukraine. Who could blame it?]
The third option is to immediately agree to a truce and accept some of the Western conditions. The expert emphasized that this, of course, is an unacceptable scenario for the Kremlin:
Many statements have already been made on this matter... And the fourth option is to simply tolerate the development of the situation, strengthen air defense, work on mistakes, and gradually strengthen the army. But at the same time, so to speak, to remedy the risks that are associated with permission to use aircraft and missiles on Russian territory. I think we'll go with the latter route.
Bifurcation point
Earlier, politician Oleg Tsarev pointed out in a conversation with Tsargrad that there is an obvious trend in the Western information space: individual politicians and key representatives of the press are leading society to the conclusion that the conflict must be curtailed.
Nevertheless, acting Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is doing everything to ensure that the fighting does not stop. And his aspirations are shared by serious political forces in the UK. But London's general position may change very soon. In particular, due to the election situation.
Thus, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and the Conservatives are today busy with a more serious problem for them. The vast majority of polls show they are tentatively losing to Labour. Therefore, London may become fixated solely on internal affairs, which could work to Russia's advantage.
Taking into account these factors, most likely, a fateful decision on the war in Ukraine will be made this summer. The First Russian's interlocutor outlined two scenarios
I have already said that by the end of summer, closer to autumn, there will be a point of bifurcation, when the West will have to decide: either it needs to unfreeze Russia’s gold and foreign exchange reserves, withdraw them and send them to Ukraine – which is what Washington is now proposing – or stop military actions, because otherwise, Ukraine will be destroyed [Long before the start of the SMO, Putin had said that if Ukraine crossed a certain red line (I don’t recall which one), Ukraine would cease to exist]. To prevent this, we will have to increase rates, we must radically increase funding. Now everything is coming to this point, to this fork in the road. We're still talking, but then we'll have to make decisions.
Oleg Tsarev also noted that Moscow now has a very strong political position, since the Ukrainian front is collapsing, which is why the West and Kiev are urgently changing the agenda for the upcoming meeting in Switzerland:
Now Ukraine is retreating at the front. And Zelensky’s statement that Russia must, must, go to the 1991 borders, and only then will he deign to negotiate with it about what reparations Russia will have to pay to Kiev, looks like the words of a completely inadequate person. It is not for nothing that, in preparation for the summit in Switzerland, they reconsidered the issues that will be discussed. Zelensky’s “peace” plan will no longer be discussed there - other points will be discussed.
Extreme conflict escalation scenario
Earlier, former Polish dissident judge Tomasz Schmidt made an alarming warning to Moscow live on the air from Tsargrad. He stated that they want to drag Russia into a new confrontation - they can allegedly open a second front against our country:
We are talking about drawing Russia into the war on this second background. It is assumed that in this case there will be no need to invoke Article 5 of the NATO Charter on mutual assistance. And then nuclear weapons will supposedly not be used. This theory, or this thesis was accepted by Washington and London. But I think they are wrong.
That is, in Western Europe and the States they are convinced that Russia will limit itself to conventional actions and will not use its nuclear arsenal even if Poland and the Baltic countries intervene in the conflict, as if on their own initiative. That is, without the support of other countries of the North Atlantic Alliance.
But [Russian] President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly pointed out the “red lines.” This is precisely one of them. The point was precisely not to directly enter into a military conflict. Russia is a peaceful country. But it will do everything to protect its people, emphasized Tomasz Schmidt.
He added that, in addition to interfering in the fighting in Ukraine, NATO leadership is also considering a more alarming scenario. For example, the outbreak of armed action on the northeastern flank of the alliance is not ruled out. Moreover, the Polish judge allowed provocations on the northern border of Russia:
This corresponds to what is happening now in the Caucasus, in Armenia, Georgia... That is, actions organized by the CIA. Actions that are aimed at destroying the political system that currently operates in these republics. If this happens, there may be a next stage. These will be provocations on the northern borders of Belarus and Russia. The point is to drag both Minsk and Moscow into the conflict. It's very risky. This could lead us into World War III. Thus, we are now in a rather dangerous moment.

Russian missiles hit a base with 300 Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers in Zmiev
Alexey Komolov
The Russian military attacked the location of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the recreation center in Zmiev near Kharkov. Pervyi Kharkovskyi writes about this.
It is noted that after midnight, five strikes were recorded at the target. As a result, the base's hotel complex, where at least 300 soldiers and mercenaries were located, was destroyed.
The publication states that the enemy suffered heavy losses.
Ukrainian media wrote about five missile attacks on a recreation center in the Slobozhana community of the Kharkov region.
Earlier, the head of the Russian administration of the Kharkov region, Vitaly Ganchev, said that Russian troops were striking at targets that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had converted from civilian to military.
According to him, in Kharkov, warehouses of Western weapons, enterprises for repairing equipment and producing drones, as well as the power supply facilities that feed them, have been repeatedly destroyed.

The underground reported a strike on a concentration of Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kharkov region
Underground: Russian Armed Forces hit a concentration of Ukrainian Armed Forces in Zarozhny, Kharkov region
Strike by the Iskander operational-tactical missile system on Ukrainian Armed Forces facilities on the territory of Ukraine. Freeze frame video - RIA Novosti, 1920, 06/03/2024
DONETSK, June 3 – RIA Novosti. Russian troops attacked a concentration of enemy manpower in the village of Zarozhnoye, Kharkov region, Nikolaev underground coordinator Sergei Lebedev told RIA Novosti, citing colleagues.
“About two o’clock in the afternoon, the Russian army launched a missile attack on the village of Zarozhnoye, at the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The strikewas in the sector of dacha [summer cottages] plots, where the Armed Forces of Ukraine brazenly settled without the consent of the owners <...> As our comrades from Kharkov report, about 30 killed members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and more than five dozens of wounded," he said.

"I saw the map." The US named the major cities that Ukraine will lose
June 2, 17:33
According to the underground leader, this group was supposed to be transferred to reinforcements near Volchansk.
“A timely message from the Resistance [pro-Russian, there are more and more Ukrainians everywhere, even in the far west, eg, Lviv oblast, who are sick and tired of war and of forced conscription. They are joining the resistance and feeding intel to the Russian forces] and the excellent work of the Russian army disrupted the approach of manpower and the delivery of ammunition to the contact line,” Lebedev noted.
At the end of last week, the head of the administration of the Kharkov region, Vitaly Ganchev, said that Russian troops had liberated half of Volchansk, but the Ukrainian command was attempting to counterattack and was pulling in large reserves there [Since manpower is scarce, the counte ordered rattack is way understaffed and the men are dying like flies under Russian artillery and missile fire. They are doomed to lose but the US-NATO forces them to continue fighting because top commanders don’t care about human life and are irrational – recall that this is ordered from Washington, the same people who support the Palestinian genocide]. According to the Ministry of Defense, units of the Sever [North] group continue to advance deeper into the enemy’s defenses, repelling seven counterattacks in the areas of Volchansk, Liptsy and Glubokoe. Over the previous 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost about 200 soldiers killed and wounded and nine pieces of equipment there.

The Foreign Ministry promised a response in the event of attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine with Western weapons deep into the Russian Federation
Russian Foreign Ministry: The West is on the path of escalation, Russia will take measures to neutralize threats
June 3, 2024
Western countries, supporting Ukraine in its intention to strike the territory of the Russian Federation with missiles from their countries, are following the path of escalation, as a result of which Russia will take all measures to neutralize threats. This was stated in a statement by the Russian Foreign Ministry on June 3.
“In addition to the British and French long-range missile systems, which have long been spotted in Ukraine, against this background we especially highlight those versions of the American missiles of the ATACMS family, which have recently been supplied to Kiev and are also capable of hitting targets deep in Russian territory,” the message on the ministry’s website says.
Moscow emphasized that whenever and wherever ground-based systems with American-made intermediate-range missiles (INF) appear, Russia reserves the right to respond symmetrically, which would mean the end of the unilateral Russian moratorium on the deployment of these weapons systems.
“We note that the aggressive desire of NATO countries to undermine the security of the Russian Federation is gaining momentum. In this regard, we would like to remind you that the guaranteed protection of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country is the highest priority of Russian policy in the field of military security, including the aspect of nuclear deterrence,” the Foreign Ministry added.
The Foreign Ministry indicated that the actions of the member states of the North Atlantic bloc actually indicate that they are deliberately directing them to further escalate the Ukrainian crisis towards an open military clash between NATO countries and the Russian Federation “as part of the implementation of a hostile course to inflict “strategic defeat” on our country.”
It is also noted that Russia’s upcoming military exercises to develop skills in the use of non-strategic nuclear weapons should be viewed as a reaction to belligerent statements from the West and to sharply destabilizing actions taken by a number of NATO countries, which are aimed at increasing forceful pressure on the Russian Federation and creating additional security threats against Moscow.
“Therefore, all necessary measures on our part will be taken in order to neutralize the threats associated with such an escalation,” the department sums up.
To hit or not to hit: Europe does not allow Zelensky to strike Russia
Why is there no unity in the West on the issue of the zone of use of weapons transferred to Kiev?
Earlier, on June 3, Ohio Senator James David Vance said that the United States was “insanely” moving towards a nuclear conflict due to the fact that President Joe Biden decided to approve strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) on Russian territory with American weapons.
Prior to this, on May 30, it was reported that the US President secretly allowed Ukraine to strike with American weapons on Russian territory. At the same time, the Politico newspaper noted that the approval applies to the regions of the Russian Federation bordering the Kharkov region. In addition, on May 31, a State Department representative said that Biden allowed Ukraine to use American weapons for counter-battery combat against targets in Russia.
Also on May 24, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, in an interview with The Economist, called on the allies to consider lifting restrictions on the use of weapons transferred to Ukraine, allowing for the possibility of strikes on Russian territory. Later, on May 27, he repeated his words at a session of the Alliance Parliamentary Assembly. Moreover, in both cases, Stoltenberg stated the need to avoid escalation.
For the first time, Ukrainian strikes on targets in Russia were announced in London on May 3. The head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, noted on May 28 that Ukraine has the right to such strikes if it is done “proportionately. [All of these moves on the part of the West might seem reasonable if you don’t take into account that the current Ukraine war was deliberately provoked by the Obama regime by meddling in the Maidan to turn a peaceful protest action into a violent coup and then seizing the reins in Kiev, naming radical Russia-hating Neo-Nazis to top government posts, knowing that these operatives would seek war with Russia by shelling the Russian-speaking Donbass. In this perspective, Russia is only retaliating against a hostile provocation by the West]. Another such possibility was supported on May 28 by French President Emmanuel Macron, while German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini, as well as US State Department representative Matthew Miller, spoke out against it. However, on May 31, German government spokesman Steffen Hebestrein reported that the German authorities approved the use of their weapons by Ukraine to strike positions of the Russian Armed Forces in the Kharkov region.
Western countries have increased their military and financial support for Kiev against the backdrop of the Russian special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by the Russian President on February 24, 2022, after the situation in the region worsened due to shelling by the Ukrainian military. However, recently in the West there have been increasingly frequent statements about the need to reduce aid to Ukraine.

Our thanks to Regis Tremblay for this:
As an expat living here now for 4+ years, I would like to add to this exceptional message.
Not only has Putin remained calm, cool, and collected, so have the Russian people. Putin knows very well that the future of humanity is in his hands. Most are aware of how difficult the situation is for humanity today, but there are no signs here of nuclear hysteria, panic, fear, and depression. On the contrary, they (me too) continue to live life to the fullest attending civic events, concerts, and observing International Children's day, parents' day, birthdays and weddings...and yes, all the while war rages next door in Ukraine, and ATACMS and drones attack us here in Crimea every day.
How is that, one must ask? My over simplified answer lies in the "Russian Soul," 1,000 plus years unified by one language among 185 ethnic groups; invasions by the Finns, Swedes, French, Germans and now the USA. Despite losing millions and millions of lives, the Russian people remain strong, united, and convinced they will not only survive this attempt to destroy them and their nation, but confident they will win. These are people who are believers in tradition, values, and Orthodoxy. They believe they are on the side of good and what is right and moral.
People who have never lived here do not understand this "Russian Soul."
I have almost completely blocked out, not only the mainstream media noise, but all of the alt-media and war experts, most of whom miss the main thing about Putin and Russians: they are not weak; they are not timid; they are not afraid; and they will not be provoked. But, if you come here with the sword, you will die by the sword.
Almost every Russian I know believes that God is on their side, and that Russia's destiny is to save humanity for the overwhelming evil that is threatening human existence all over the world. The hope for humanity lies in the hands of Putin and the Russian people.
Slava Rossii!

Once The Dollar Breaks Down, Peter Schiff Warns Of Run-Away Inflation: 'Investors Are Completely Unprepared'
Renowned economist Peter Schiff has warned about the potential for a major financial crisis due to “run-away inflation” and a weakening U.S. dollar. Schiff also predicts a significant surge in gold prices.
A “weakening dollar” could be exacerbated by the diligent 24/7 action of the BRICS and other multipolar world order groups. If these folks do weaken the dollar – notably by conducting all cross-border settlements in local coin and yuan or rubles, for example, it will be the fault of the idiots in Washington who so blithely slap sanctions on anyone who steps out of line and who have taken the unprecedented step of confiscating the interest payments on Russian assets. Any fool could have seen that this reckless practice would prompt investors to shy away from dollar-denominated investments.
But let’s recall that politicians have long abandoned all attempts to solve problems. They are totally focused on sound bytes (in addition to pleasing donors from various lobbies).
No president cares any longer about the efficacy of policies in solving or easing problems. As long as they please voters with PR, they consider mission accomplished.
When – not if – they create crises, lame ducks try to kick the can into the next election cycle and let the next president worry about the mess they’ve created.
This is why nothing works in Washington any more.
