Russia's need for buffer zones means negotiations impossible / Missile strike update for June 1, 2023
Russia can't afford a negotiated settlement. The Minsk accords showed the West can't be trusted to honor agreements
Below you will find a translation of a today’s air alert update, with my notes in bold typeface and in [brackets]. You can consult the map linked here, and also read my explanation of possible motives for these strikes.
On Oct 10, 2022, the first day of the current missile strike campaign, I started chronicling the daily Russian air strikes on Ukraine infrastructure in an attempt to avoid being lied to by the Western press, which had falsely claimed starting in March of 2022 that Russia was running out of missiles. I knew that Russia would not have been foolish enough to invade Ukraine if it was not 100% certain that it had enough armaments to prosecute a war of indefinite duration.
So far, I have seen that Russia is hitting Ukrainian infrastructure not just regularly, not just often, but in fact every day, and the strikes have all been multiple, targeting more than one oblast or city every day. Countries running out of ammo can’t do that.
The strikes of recent days have been unusual in that there are more of them and many of them are targeting Western oblasts.
Analysts who try to compare Ukrainian and Western military strength generally don’t understand the vast differences in military power between Ukraine-West and Russia. Some of them simply buy into the fakes in Western msm, which all originate in Kiev, where it is important for the intel agencies and media to exaggerate greatly to convince Western politicians and defense agencies such as NATO to keep sending arms in hopes that Ukraine has a chance to win.
But it does not, and keen observers have known this for months.
All the fakes and hype accomplish nothing more than to persuade Western authorities to send more arms and to encourage Kiev to keep fighting when in fact, the war has long been lost by Ukraine. These lies therefore are responsible for the excess deaths among Ukrainian soldiers. Politicians and media representatives in the US-misled West are responsible for killing vast numbers of innocent people.
But that is par for the course in the West, which is more focused on war than any other issue and which wages war for all sorts of contrived reasons other than defense.
The upshot of this is that the world is careening toward a multipolar world in which all countries will be respected regardless of politics and the hegemon will be toothless. After decades of US dominance, war, sanctions, injustice, currency manipulation and all kinds of evil emanating from Washington, DC, it is hard to imagine a world like that.
But we will soon experience it, Lord willing – inshallah.

Missile and other strikes on Ukraine clean out arsenals
The next 3 reports are translation with my notes in bold and in [brackets]
RUSSIAN MISSILES CLEARED UKRAINIAN ARSENALS FROM KIEV TO KHERSON: WHAT IS HAPPENING ON THE FRONTS OF THE SMO (special military operation)
The situation on the fronts of the special operation continues to be tense. Tsargrad has collected up-to-date facts about the situation on the fronts of the Northern Military District.
At night, the Russian Armed Forces launched at least 10 missile strikes on targets in Kyiv. [emphasis added] Patriot air defense systems responded in the Ukrainian capital. There are reports of civilian casualties. Explosions also sounded in Konstantinovka and Slavyansk.
In addition, during the day, aerial bombs struck in the Zaporozhye direction in the area of the settlements of Orekhov and Gulyaipole. Our cannon and rocket artillery are also working in this direction. [Zaporozhye – Zaporizhya in Ukr. – is, as you will recall, home to the largest NPP (nuclear power plant) in Europe, where Ukronazis have been trying to cause a nuclear “accident” that can be blamed on Russia]
In total, Russian missiles cleared the arsenals of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Kyiv to Kherson. In the Kherson oblast, in particular, enemy field depots and boats are being destroyed. An airfield near Kherson was struck, and cannon artillery worked against field warehouses on the enemy bank of the Dnieper, the authors of the Dva Mayora (Two Majors) telegram channel write.
The enemy continues to concentrate forces in the Zaporizhzhia direction, and strikes at the near rear. At night, the enemy fired at our positions especially intensively against the Orekhovsky sector of the front. In addition, it continues to hit the civilian population of the region, the message says.
[Here is one of the features of Ukronazi warfare, which deliberately attacks civilians and has done so since 2014. Reports of Russians striking civilian infrastructure are generally false. Whenever the Ukrainian air defenses miss a target and accidentally hit a civilian structure, the Ukros routinely blame the Russians, and they make sure the Western intel services and media get copy of the report, so that the entire West is inundated with false propaganda that makes the Ukraine – the most corrupt country in Europe – appear lily-white and Russia appear to be the devil incarnate.]
Near Avdiivka [Avdeevka in RU], fierce battles are going on both on the northern and southern flanks. Massive attacks from rocket artillery on the identified positions of Ukrainian formations are recorded in the area. In the Ugledar sector, Russian troops shelled Novopol, Bolshaya Novosyolka, Zolotaya Niva, Miner, Prechistovka, Novoukrainka and the city of Ugledar itself. On the Donetsk front, Russian soldiers resumed their assault in the area of Novomikhailovka, and with the support of artillery, near Pobeda. After the air strikes, they launched another attack in Maryinka [strategically important city. Liberating it would make it possible to attack other cities]. They also tried to advance to the North. In the Lugansk direction, our guys attacked in the Serebryansky forest from the direction of Kuzmin, near Novoselovsky and in the Masyutovka area, informs WarGonzo.
As for the attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy attacks the Belgorod region [in Russia proper, across the border from Kharkov oblast. More attacks on civilians, the hallmark of Ukronazism] around the clock.
The Belgorod region is under round-the-clock shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. There are civilian casualties. At night and in the morning, the shelling of Shebekino continued. Air defense responded over Belgorod, indicated in the message.
The authorities of the Voronezh, Tomsk, Penza, Kaluga and Yaroslavl regions, as well as the Stavropol Territory and the republics of Crimea and North Ossetia-Alania are asking for help with the placement of children evacuated from the border region. Residents of the region are turning to the federal center with a demand to move the front line. [That means escalating the war. It can’t be helped]
In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a massive strike with drones on the territory of the Klimovsky district of the Bryansk region [also in Russia proper]. some of the aircraft was shot down, while the rest was intercepted by electronic warfare systems. There were no casualties or damage.
In the neighboring Kursk oblast, the enemy fired on the village of Tyotkino, Glushkovsky district. Four residential buildings and power lines were damaged: power went out on several streets. In the Krasnodar Territory, Ukrainian drones attacked two oil refineries at once. At the Afipsky Oil Refinery, a fire engulfed a fuel oil transfer unit. At the enterprise near Ilsk, damage was avoided.
At least four rockets from the HIMARS MLRS [that is US-supplied, which Ukraine promised would never be used to attack Russian territory. Of course, the Ukies were promising in bad faith and the West knew it – just like the Minsk agreements] were fired at the village of Karpaty in the Luhansk [Lugansk in RU] People's Republic [the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics are the backbone of Donbass, where the Ukrainians were provoking the population by attacking civilians areas for 8 years after the reins were picked up in Kiev by the Obama regime in 2014. This was the immediate casus belli for the Russian special operation]. As a result of the strike on the poultry farm and the construction camp, five people were killed and another 19 were injured.
The enemy fired 228 rounds of ammunition in the DPR. In Maryinka, positional battles continue in low-rise buildings behind Druzhby Avenue. From time to time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine make attempts to counterattack, which are suppressed by Russian artillery fire, Rybar reports. [The importance of liberating Maryinka is that, taking this town will pave the way to take other areas in Donbass, as explained here https://en.topwar.ru/218301-vrio-glavy-dnr-osvobozhdenie-marinki-v-obozrimoj-perspektive-zadacha-strategicheskoj-vazhnosti.html.]

The commander of "Akhmat" announced the liberation of about 70% of Maryinka
06/01/2023
The commander of the Akhmat special forces, Apty Alaudinov, announced the liberation of approximately 70% of Maryinka in the DPR. He said this in an interview with the Zvezda TV channel, a Donbass Today correspondent reports.
According to him, the advance in Marinka is going well, despite the "very serious resistance" of the enemy.

The next 2 articles are a recap of the strikes on Kiev on May 30. I ran it because it adds important detail.
May 31, 2023, Intelligence Directorate bunker hit, NATO officers possibly killed or wounded
This report is from May 31 as shown above, but it refers to the massive air raid on May 30
THERE REALLY WAS A STRIKE ON THE KIEV BUNKER. VITYAZEVA REPORTS ON THE LIQUIDATION OF NATO OFFICERS IN KIEV
Journalist Yulia Vityazeva said that NATO officers came under a Russian missile attack on a bunker at the headquarters of the GUR (Ukr. Intelligence Directorate) and were probably liquidated. [This main directorate is in fact located on an island]
The Russian army struck at the command post located on Rybalsky Island in Kyiv. The military tried to take cover in the shelter, but the Russian plane fired a missile with a bunker-busting warhead, which broke through the shelter and exploded. Journalist Yulia Vityazeva spoke about this on Wednesday, citing Ukrainian sources.
According to them, at the time of the strike, there were up to 100 officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and 20 foreign soldiers from the United States and Britain in the bunker. More than a dozen ambulances immediately went to the headquarters, and two helicopters flew out of Kyiv on the same day towards Poland. This may indicate that as a result of the strike, foreign officers were eliminated or injured.
Vityazeva noted that, most likely, it was this blow that caused the vibration that frightened the inhabitants of Kyiv. The mayor of the Ukrainian capital then attributed everything to the rumble from heavy NATO equipment, which the Armed Forces of Ukraine are transferring to the front.

There can be no peace without Russian control of Kharkov
06/01/2023 Shelling of the Belgorod region: what is happening on the border between Russia and Ukraine
Throughout the day, Ukrainian formations continue to inflict massive strikes on the border settlements of the Belgorod region. [Belgorod is in Russia proper, across the border from the Kharkov oblast of the former nation known as “Ukraine.” As this commentator notes, the attacks on Belgorod are proof that Russia MUST liberate more territory, and specifically, in this case, the Kharkov oblast. This is one reason why airheads who like to talk about a “negotiated settlement” simply don’t get it. If they succeeded, we’d have Minsk redux, another worthless treaty trampled on by the Ukronazis and the deceitful West. Russia knows it can’t simply freeze the conflict and walk away. The author explains this below.]
For the residents of the Shebekinsky district [in the Belgorod oblast], today has become one of the most difficult since the beginning of the special operaton: at night the city was subjected to massive shelling, and then the enemy tried to break through the border, after which artillery strikes again.
In Shebekino and nearby settlements, infrastructure facilities and residential buildings came under fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine [Western weapons used in the illegal killing of civilians—with the Western msm keeping it all under their hats, just as they did for 8 years after the illegal US takeover of Ukraine in 2014]. In the entire area, at least ten people were injured with varying degrees of severity, most of them residents of Shebekino.
There were no casualties in the Graivoronsky District and the Krasnoyaruzhsky District, however, as a result of the strike, a fire broke out in two residential buildings in the village of Kozinka.
In the Valuisky district, the village of Novopetrovka came under shelling: teachers from a rural school and one woman received shrapnel wounds. School buildings, a first-aid post and several households were damaged.
About an hour ago, Russian air defense systems intercepted a Ukrainian drone over Belgorod: its fragments fell on the roadway, two people were injured.
At the moment, the region continues to arrange temporary accommodation centers for residents from the Shebekinsky district. At the same time, additional forces were drawn into the city itself.
An explosion of an unknown device occurred in Belgorod, confirms governor Gladkov of the Belgorod oblast.
“According to preliminary data, a UAV fell on the roadway. There are two victims. One man with a suspected concussion is taken by an ambulance to city hospital No. 2, the second man with minor bruises refused to be hospitalized. One car was damaged. Operational services and an investigative group are working on the spot. The circumstances of the incident are being specified," Gladkov said.
A Ukrainian drone that crashed near the Kharkiv [Kharkov in RU] Mountains in Belgorod was likely filled with submunitions, eyewitnesses said.
There is no victory without Russian Kharkov [The author is right. Until Kharkov is liberated and reverts to Russian control, the Russian regions across the border are unsafe. This kind of scenario exists all around Ukraine wherever hostile forces are contiguous with areas under Russian control, because the Ukronazis’ favorite tactic is terror. Westerners are being kept ignorant of this situation because many still think the Ukrainian fighters are just freedom-loving democrats trying to defend their “sovereignty.” To be blunt, all of Ukraine ceded its sovereignty when it entered into an unholy alliance with the US-NATO in 2014. There are no truly Ukrainian leaders. They are US puppets. But even so, the “leaders” feel free because Washington is comfortable in bed with Nazis. This is why Russia has said one of its goals in its special operation is to denazify Ukraine (it also has hinted that the West must also be denazified. An important step in that direction is de-weaponizing the dollar – ie, de-dollarizing the West. It’s happening now]
While shells are exploding on the streets of Russian cities in the Belgorod region, it's time to recall one of the tasks that need to be solved during the special military operation.
Kharkiv remains a base of Ukrainian troops. The second largest city in Ukraine, an industrial center and a stronghold right at our borders. A city founded by the Russians and lost by them. The city for which the Russians shed rivers of their blood. The city where T-34 tanks and steam locomotives famous all over the country were built. A city that was simply handed over when a large country was cut into pieces by politicians.
The city that is now growing at our side like an abscess of Ukrainianism and a springboard for the Ukrainian army.
Palliatives won't work. No line of defense, no evacuation of the inhabitants of our border settlements, no pumping of the border by troops and territorial defense troops - none of this will help solve the problem once and for all.
Surgery is needed to remove this boil. If Russia does not liberate Kharkov, this cannot be called a victory.
It's like just postponing the treatment process, hoping that "it will pass by itself." What happens to an untreated abscess - any doctor will tell you. It can lead to amputation or even blood poisoning and death.
Having kept Kharkov now in the hands of the enemy, we risk being left without Belgorod in the future or losing Russia altogether. This is not hyperbole or a figure of speech.

Weapons paid for by YOUR tax money and sent to the nice freedom-loving Nazis in Ukraine have found their way onto the black market. Some turned up in the hands of the narco-terrorists in Mexico.
Aren’t you glad we have “democracy” in the US? The salient benefit of this form of democracy is that, when the idiots in Washington make a mess of things, the public can truthfully say “I didn’t vote for this.”

Were US Evangelical missionaries behind the draconian anti-gay laws in Uganda?
It needs to be said up-front, that while Russia has laws banning the spread of LGBTQ propaganda, it does not ban homosexuality per se. Big difference.
Translation from German:
Newsletter - Western Values
(Own report) - The federal government has sharply criticized Uganda's new law against non-heterosexual lifestyles, while at the same time refraining from any criticism of its American cues. The law, which provides for the death penalty for so-called serious homosexuality, "violates basic human rights to which Uganda has committed itself," said German Development Minister Svenja Schulze. Experts and activists from African countries have been pointing out for years that the current hate campaign against LGBT people in Uganda and other countries on the African continent is actually being fueled by evangelical organizations, primarily from the USA, which are not only agitating against non-heterosexual lifestyles in their own country , but also export their ideology to Africa – with millions. The first draft law, which was supposed to allow the death penalty for homosexuality in Uganda in 2009, was drafted with the help of evangelical advisers from the USA. An expert from South Africa warns that the Christian US right is exporting "hatred to Africa" with its "culture war". In Berlin, Uganda is criticized, but the US aid is kept silent.

👍You're preaching to the choir here. Ukr junta can't be trusted. Ukr recently demanded a 100km demilitarized zone on Russian borderland. 🤕Russia will comply by capturing 200km inside Ukr borders.
I've followed this conflict area closely since 1990 and one thing stands out. In 1992 the mayor of St Petersburg warned of the consequences of Crimea, Kharkov, Donbass not being resolved & returned to Russian Federation. He opposed NUTO backed "not see nationalists" influence in Ukr politics and described - exactly-the present state of war. This is relevant because he mentored V. Putin's early, reluctant, entry into politics. Pres Putin has had 30 years to think & plan for worst case scenario. Russia plans for surviving war and western sanctions was in the works decades ago🍻.
If I were younger, I would move to Russia in a heartbeat, and abandon all my chattels in the US. We are no longer a republic, but the United States of Stupidity. As it is, I have responsibilities here, I am a senior citizen, and I will stay with this sinking ship.
