The interview. Let Hillary et al. prove Putin lied
Smart people don't say, before an interview, that the interviewee will lie. But then there's Hillary. If anyone thinks Putin lied, tell us what the lie was. I heard all 2 hours and didn't catch it.
First of all, if any of your friends or family says Putin lied in this interview, ask if they saw the interview.
(your air strike update follows this article)
If they say they did not, send them this link and tell them if they want to continue the conversation with you on this topic, you will be glad to pick up the thread after they watch the whole 2 hr+ interview. If they still insist Putin was lying, ask what his lies consisted of.
Hillary said Putin’s statements would be a “pack of lies.” But that was before the interview was posted.
It is a VERY dangerous and stupid thing to claim statements made by a powerful adversary are lies before you listen to his statements. If anyone goes that route, there can no longer be any doubt that they are hopelessly biased (and not very smart to boot). And since we are at war with a nuclear power, it is irresponsible to make rash statements about the leader with whom one is at war. Right?
The whole notion of diplomacy was based on an urgent desire to prevent or stop wars. But if you say irresponsible things about the adversary and even try to prevent people on your side from dialoguing with that adversary, then any unbiased observer will conclude that you do not want peace and that you want to send your countrymen into a useless war with no visible goal.
Where are all these famous Russian lies? Putin handed Tucker a pack of documents that apparently prove he was telling the truth. But if Hillary and her cronies want to keep up the charade, they at least need to identify the lies they insist Putin would tell. Did he or not? What were the lies?
Maybe something along the lines of “I did not have sex with that woman…”
Here’s what the Russians say about the Tucker-Putin interview.

"EVERY STATEMENT IS A BOMBSHELL: FULL INTERVIEW OF PUTIN TO TUCKER CARLSON"
What did the Russian president and the American journalist talk about?
American journalist Tucker Carslon published his video interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin. It is available on the journalist’s official website and on his social networks. The interview is broadcast by a number of Russian media and telegram channels.
The interview was conducted in the Kremlin offices where Carlson was allowed. It lasts 127 minutes - more than two hours.
Lecture from Putin
During the interview, Putin, in particular, told Carlson the history of Russia. This was so that Americans would understand how the Russian-Ukrainian conflict began. The Russian president began from the very beginning: the history of Ancient Rus', Epiphany, Russian princes. The President decided to explain how it happened that Kyiv, which in the West is considered the capital of Ukraine, is the most Russian city. And about fragmentation, and about the horde, and then - about the annexation of Ukraine to Russia by the decision of the Cossacks themselves, led by Bogdan Khmelnitsky.
“I will even give you documents now,” Putin said. And as Tucker did not refuse, he handed him a large folder.
“There are even letters from Khmelnitsky,” [in the folder] the president explained. And then he talked about the Russian Emperors, the decisions of the Soviet authorities, the former Polish lands, the transfer of Crimea by Khrushchev and, as a result, the emergence of the phenomenon of modern Ukraine.
Putin said that the word “Ukrainian” was invented by the Poles.
“Initially, the word “Ukrainian” meant that a person lives on the outskirts of the state, “at the edge,” or is engaged in border service. This did not mean any special ethnic group,” said the Russian president.
And then he added about the threat from the West and NATO.
“So Russia started the Special Military Operation (SMO) because the United States was going to launch a nuclear strike?” - asked Carlson.
Putin, seeing that Carlson was somewhat overloaded with information, began to smile.
“The point is not that America was going to deliver an unexpected blow to Russia. I didn’t say that. I know my long speeches are tiring. That’s why I asked you at the beginning of the interview - will this be a talk show, or will it be a serious conversation. We decided that the conversation would be serious,” the president said, making it clear that Carslon would have to listen a lot.
What will happen to Ukraine
“Russia has not yet achieved the goals of the Central Military District, because one of them is denazification, which means a ban on all neo-Nazi movements,” the president said.
“Ukraine started the war, Russia’s goal is to stop it... Russia and Ukraine, during negotiations in Istanbul in 2022, agreed that neo-Nazism would be legally prohibited in Ukraine... Negotiations with Ukraine in 2022 were almost completed, but after the withdrawal of troops The Ukrainian side threw out all agreements from Kyiv,” the Russian leader said.
“Zelensky came to power with the expectation of leading Ukraine to peace, but realized that it was better not to quarrel with neo-Nazis and nationalists,” Putin concluded and actually determined the future of the Kyiv leadership. It's sad.
Putin about “non-brothers”
“They have the right to consider themselves a separate people, but not on the basis of Nazism and Nazi ideology... Is any state allowed to propagandize Nazis? No, right? That’s all,” the president noted.
Now Ukraine is a clear and unconditional satellite of the United States.
“We in Russia believe that everything that happened after 2014, the primary source of power was a coup d’etat, and in this sense, even today’s government is flawed,” the president said.
“Russia today defends its people, itself, its Motherland and its common future,” he concluded.
Russian consciousness
Russians and Westerners think a little differently, our consciousness is different, Putin said. Russian people, the president noted, think more about the eternal.
Religion, faith, “is not in external manifestations, not in going to church every day or beating your head on the floor. It is in the heart. And we have a human-oriented culture,” Putin said and even cited Dostoevsky as an example, who wrote a lot about the Russian soul.
What else did Putin say?
The Russian president noted that a solution to the situation in Ukraine can only be achieved through negotiations. And it must be achieved.
“The West has begun to realize the impossibility of Russia’s strategic defeat. Let it think about what to do next, we are ready for dialogue,” the president said.
Putin assured the American journalist that the North Atlantic Alliance can fully recognize Russia’s control over the new territories.
“There are options, if there is a desire,” Putin noted. “Ukraine decided to refuse negotiations with Russia at the direction of Washington. Now it is the States that must correct this mistake.”
Putin also commented on the explosions at Nord Stream. Carlson asked whether the president believed that NATO or the CIA were involved in the bombing.
“We need to look for someone who would benefit and could do this,” Putin explained evasively.
First interview
Tucker Carlson became, in fact, the first Western journalist to interview Putin since the start of the SMO. Carlson has repeatedly stated that this intention was strongly opposed in the White House. However, the trip to Moscow still took place.
For this, in his homeland he has already been branded a “traitor” and a “Kremlin puppet.” Someone even suggested banning Carlson, who is a US citizen, from entering his own country. And the European Union began to discuss imposing sanctions against Carlson for interviewing Putin.
Minute analysis
Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that the upcoming interview of American journalist Tucker Carlson with Russian President Vladimir Putin has already caused great resonance in both the United States and Russia.
According to him, it is already clear that the conversation with the head of state will be broken down “piece by piece” and analyzed for some time to come.
The president's press secretary also commented on the accusations and threats that Carlson has received from his American colleagues, as well as some Western politicians.
“Does Carlson need our protection? I don’t think so. It seems to me that he can stand up for himself. In addition to not entirely sane voices, there are also sane voices in the United States. It is important for us that as many people as possible become familiar with the position of the president,” Peskov noted.
The Kremlin official added that Putin spoke to Carlson in Russian. The interview itself will be published on the Kremlin website on Friday morning - both in Russian and in English versions of the resource.
The concrete wall of censorship has been broken
International journalist and Tsargrad observer Sergei Latyshev assessed the consequences of Tucker Carlson’s interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He believes the American media mainstream will burst at the seams when it hears the truth. They will begin to work out their agenda, but there is nothing to worry about.
“On the one hand, the personal conversation between an American journalist and Putin plays into the hands of Russia. Residents of the United States and Europe are mired in Western propaganda that demonizes Moscow and glorifies its enemy. Therefore, the fact that people abroad will be able to hear an alternative opinion that has broken through the concrete wall of censorship thanks to Carlson is an undoubted blessing.
This will help to shake the veil of lies erected by the West around Russia. This will be a powerful blow with long-lasting consequences. After all, Tucker will clearly have followers. Other journalists will also want to interview Putin,” says Latyshev. [150 million people have viewed the interview so far]
On the other hand, the mainstream press, which promotes US government propaganda, will certainly try to turn this interview into a weapon against Carlson himself and against the Republicans whom he clearly supports. They will try to present the journalist as a “Kremlin puppet,” and all because he turned out to be the only representative of Western media who had the courage to interview the other side of the conflict. And it has already begun. American television channels are actively discussing Carlson’s “betrayal,” and some are even proposing to impose sanctions on him for the honest performance of his journalistic duties.
Carlson himself says that he wants to give Americans the opportunity to hear the opposite opinion, which the US presidential administration and its pocket media do not allow them to hear.

Ракетные удары по Украине сегодня: ВС РФ сожгли до тла отель с ВСУ в Харькове (donbasstoday.ru)
Missile strikes on Ukraine today: the Russian Armed Forces burned to the ground a hotel with the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kharkov
[It is common for the Urkainian armed forces to house troops, officers and mercenaries in hotels, which are frequently struck by Russian missiles and drones. The lying Ukrainian msm then invariably report that Russia has struck civilian facilities and killed civilians, but the dead are actually regular troops and officers]
02/09/2024
Within 24 hours, Russian troops, using attack drones, artillery, mortars, and aviation, carried out attacks on positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in nine oblasts of Ukraine.
Consequences of a missile attack on the Zmievskaya community of the Kharkov oblast.
The head of the regional military administration reported that Geran UAVs struck civilian infrastructure: there were fires in the hotel building and on the summer area of the restaurant. However, it is clear that military units were stationed in this hotel.
[It is very difficult for the military to hide in hotels or anywhere else in Kharkov, because this is a very Russia oriented oblast, where most residents speak Russian and are, simply for that reason, considered inferior (Untermenschen). Therefore, these residents can all be considered potential spies for Russia and will gladly give the Russian military the coordinates of places housing Ukrainian troops.]
According to incoming data, 6 Gerans hit the hotel building and the summer terrace of the restaurant, as well as the three-story building of the recreation complex and the dining room.
“They sat quietly in the forest of Ukraine. But at night, a Geran prevented a restful sleep by its unexpected visit. Taking into account the distance from prying eyes and the comfort of the recreation center, these were not ordinary Ukies,” they commented online.
Ochakov, a strike
Two strikes are reported from Ochakov, one with a distinct detonation. This time the munitions flew not along the coast, where there are a lot of “vacationers,” but to Ochakov itself, where there are Banderite leaders and several very interesting premises that require attention.
Munitions fly along Ochakov almost every day, but towards the coast, where civilians are prohibited from traveling. There, Banderites settled in recreation centers and boarding houses. They are not only on the coast of Ochakov. Nearby there is the village of Kutsurub, there is Dmitrovka, and on the other side are Chernomorka and Rybakovka. Everyone has to pay attention.

The Western msm are already lying about the Tucker-Putin interview
“Putin threatens WW II if US deploys troops in Ukraine” is a lie. Putin did not threaten. He warned. US journos don’t know the difference between warn and threaten.
Putin threatens World War Three if US deploys troops in Ukraine (msn.com)
“Certain contacts are being maintained,” Putin told Carlson, but declined to go into further detail.
However, the Russian president added: “If somebody has the desire to send regular troops, that would certainly bring humanity to the brink of a very serious global conflict.”
If Putin had said:
“If somebody has the desire to send regular troops, we would start a very serious global conflict.” Then THAT would have been a threat.
Western journos need to at least learn English semantics.

Western journos LIED saying Putin blamed Nord Stream sabotage on CIA.
It was Tucker who asked if the CIA blew up the pipelines, but Putin’s answer was evasive.

The United States has warned that it will not support an “unplanned” military operation in Rafah without due consideration for displaced Palestinians who are sheltering there. “We haven’t seen any plans that would convince us that they [the Israeli military] is about to, or imminently going to conduct any major operations in Rafah,” said U.S. national security spokesperson John Kirby, addressing a White House Press Conference on Thursday. “More than one million Palestinians are sheltering in and around Rafah,” he continued. “The Israeli military has a special obligation as they conduct operations there or anywhere else to make sure that they’re factoring in protection for innocent civilian life.”
Israel’s Genocide War in Gaza Continues
Israeli forces carried out deadly air strikes on Gaza, hours after US President Joe Biden described the military response to the October 7 attack on Israel by the Palestinian territory’s ruling Hamas movement as “over the top”.
Biden says Gaza fighting ‘over the top,’ pushing for a pause. U.S. President Joe Biden on Thursday suggested that Israel’s military response in Gaza has been “over the top” and said he is seeking a “sustained pause in the fighting” to help ailing Palestinian civilians.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu orders the military to evacuate the city of Rafah in southern Gaza ahead of an expected invasion. Israel bombed targets in overcrowded Rafah early Friday, hours after U.S. officials and aid agencies warned Israel against expanding its Gaza ground offensive to the southern city where more than half of the territory’s 2.3 million people have sought refuge.
Israel bombed targets in Rafah today, hours after Biden administration officials warned Israel against expanding its Gaza ground offensive into the southern city. Airstrikes hit two residential buildings in Rafah, while two other sites were bombed, killing twenty-two people, according to AP journalists who saw bodies arriving at hospitals. Najib Jobain, Wafaa Shurafa, and Bassem Mroue report for AP News.
As a Hamas delegation arrived in Egypt yesterday for further talks on ending the war in Gaza, Israeli officials indicated their government was still open to negotiation, despite Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s strong public rejection of Hamas’s counter-proposal this week. “There is agreement among members of the governing coalition, and particularly among individual members of the government, that we do have to get the hostages back and to make a deal. But not at any price. Stopping the war, they won’t agree to,” Miki Zohar, an Israeli government minister, said yesterday. Patrick Kingsley and Adam Rasgon report for the New York Times.
At least 27,949 people have died in Gaza since Israel began its military campaign, the Hamas-run health ministry said today. A further 67,459 people have been injured, with just over100 people killed in the past 24 hours. Mithil Aggarwal reports for NBC News.
INTERNATIONAL RESPONSE
U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk said yesterday that “The IDF are reportedly destroying all buildings within the Gaza Strip that are within a kilometer of the Israel-Gaza fence, clearing the area with the objective of creating a ‘buffer zone’,” warning that “destructions carried out to create a ‘buffer zone’ for general security purposes do not appear consistent with the narrow ‘military operations’ exception set out in international humanitarian law.”
U.S. RESPONSE
President Biden said yesterday that Israel’s operation to go after Hamas had been “over the top,” one of his sharpest rebukes yet of Israel’s military conduct in Gaza.“I’m of the view…that the conduct of the response in Gaza – in the Gaza Strip – has been over the top,” Biden told reporters at the White House. Kevin Liptak reports for CNN.
The Biden administration said yesterday it would not at this point support Israeli plans for a military operation in Rafah, where more than half of Gaza’s total population has sought shelter. “Given the circumstances and the conditions there that we see right now, we think a military operation at this time would be a disaster for those people,” White House spokesperson John Kirby told reporters. “With so many Palestinians sheltering in Rafah,” Kirby said, “the Israeli military has a special obligation as they conduct operations, there or anywhere else, to make sure that they’re factoring in protection for innocent civilian life.” Farnaz Fassihi and Alan Yuhas report for the New York Times.
“The civilian death toll in Gaza has been far too high” and “there continue to be steps, we believe, that can be taken that are a moral and strategic imperative to minimize the impact on civilians,” State Department Principal Deputy spokesperson Vedant Patel said yesterday.
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken left the Middle East yesterday with public divisions between the United States and Israel at perhaps their worst level since the start of the war in Gaza. Netanyahu’s public dismissal of a Hamas ceasefire plan that the U.S. says has merit, at least as a starting point for further negotiation, highlighted the divide.Matthew Lee reports for AP News.

Israeli Military Mobilizes in Rafah Despite Cairo Ceasefire Talks.
The Israeli military prepares for intervention in Rafah, Gaza, despite ongoing talks in Cairo for a ceasefire with Hamas. This decision follows Hamas’ rejection of a ceasefire proposal, despite reassurances from the US State Department about the potential for an agreement. Israeli airstrikes targeted the border area between Egypt and Gaza, causing casualties among displaced individuals. The severity of the strikes sparked horrific panic among the displaced population. Egyptian military helicopters patrolled the Philadelphia axis area in response to the airstrikes. The Egyptian military reinforced concrete walls and installed barbed wire to prevent Palestinian migration toward North Sinai.
Israeli Army Neutralizes Hamas Fighters and Uncovers Hostage Site in Gaza Clashes.
The Israeli army successfully neutralized more than 20 Hamas fighters during violent clashes and discovered various combat equipment, including RPG launchers and ammunition. Commando units, paratroopers, the Nahal Brigade, and Unit 414 contributed to these operations, aiming to dismantle Hamas’ military infrastructure. Additionally, the army uncovered a hostage-taking site within a large Hamas tunnel in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza. The tunnel was used to detain 12 hostages at different times, three of whom have returned to Israel. The operation, led by elite combat engineering units “Yahalom” and other special forces, revealed a complex tunnel network extending approximately one kilometer, including facilities for guarding the hostages such as a bathroom and rest area.
Israeli Plan Echoes Arafat’s 1982 Exile Amid Hamas Demands for Gaza.
Israeli leaders are considering the possibility of exiling Yahya Al-Sanwar, Hamas’s leader in Gaza, and other key figures from the group, as part of a plan to achieve stability in the region. This proposal, reminiscent of Yasser Arafat’s exile in 1982, is contingent upon the release of all detained hostages and aims to replace Hamas’s governance with a more moderate regime. Meanwhile, Hamas is pressing for various demands, including the withdrawal of IDF forces from Gaza, the release of prisoners, and halting Jewish visits to the Temple Mount. Additionally, they seek significant humanitarian aid, infrastructure repair, and the establishment of shelter camps for civilians.
Hezbollah Commander Killed, Israeli Soldiers Injured.
A Hezbollah commander was killed, and Israeli soldiers were injured in clashes. The Israeli army reported that an officer and two soldiers sustained injuries, one of them serious, following a missile attack launched from Lebanon by Hezbollah. In response, an Israeli drone strike targeted and killed Hezbollah’s military commander, Abbas Al-Debs, in Nabatieh, southern Lebanon. Subsequently, the Israeli army retaliated by targeting Hezbollah’s military infrastructure in the Khiam area, following the launch of anti-tank missiles from Lebanon.
IRAN-BACKED MILITANTS
An Israeli airstrike targeted a commander of Hezbollah’s Radwan unit in southern Lebanon yesterday, the latest sign that Israel is shifting toward a strategy of surgical strikes inside Lebanon. The Israeli army said the commander had been involved in rocket launches toward northern Israel earlier yesterday and that the targeted strike was in response to those attacks. The commander was injured but survived the attack, according to a senior Lebanese security official. Euan Ward reports for the New York Times.

Blinken’s Make-or-Break Tour of the Middle East Whether Washington can de-escalate tensions will determine the future of its regional authority.
“Great transformations begin with small steps. If Biden can orchestrate two deals—one that frees hostages for a humanitarian pause that ratchets down the Gaza war’s intensity, plus an understanding between Israel and Hezbollah—he’ll have made huge strides.”
“Blinken’s goal is to keep the conflict essentially contained to Gaza, wind it down, and construct a more stable Middle East on the bedrock of Israeli-Saudi relations and Palestinian statehood. But he’ll will have a hard time selling that to the Israelis.”

US Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken has found a hardened political landscape as he tours the Middle East for the fifth time since the Gaza war erupted.
Raising the stakes, Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu this week left Mr. Blinken seemingly empty-handed by rejecting as “crazy” a Hamas proposal for a prolonged ceasefire and a prisoner swap.
