The perpetrator of Gonzalo Lira’s murder was Joe Biden, via Zelensky as his proxy
President's duty is due diligence to keep citizens abroad safe from aggression. If he deliberately lets a citizen be killed by an “ally,” when a phone call could have saved him, he is a murderer.
https://ria.ru/20240115/bloger-1921310087.html
Here’s what the Russians are saying about the murder of Gonzalo Lira by Joe Biden and his Kiev proxy
A president who is capable of standing by as his foreign proxy murders a US citizen does not have the moral restraint to refrain from doing likewise to a US citizen within the US borders as long as he can – or believes he can – do so with impunity. Biden’s motive was to eliminate an uncomfortable reporter. No reporter anywhere in the Western world who criticizes US policies is safe from Biden.
Biden stood by as thus far 92 journalists were murdered in Palestine by the Israeli authorities or settlers since Oct 7, 2022. But this truth-ophobia is not limited to the US regime.
The German authorities are particularly squeamish about their citizens revealing truths about the many things their media and deep state do not want people to know, and that is a trickle-down effect from the US. Alina Lipp went to Donbass amidst the raging US-backed genocide and recorded forbidden truths. The German authorities closed her YouTube channel, blocked her PayPal account, and sentenced her to three years in prison without trial for interviewing Ukrainian citizens in the Donbass. Her only escape route was to settle in territory under Russian control and never return to her homeland.
And yet, despite the gestapo-like tactics of Western authorities against the growing number of Westerners who talk too much for comfort, we keep calling the West the Free World. That willingness to surrender our freedom of speech and press and continue calling the unaligned countries like Russia and China totalitarian is one of the many facets of what I call West-think.
Biden obviously suffers from a deep-seated fear and hatred of anyone who exposes him and his inner circle to the truth about their misdeeds. This is a dangerous mindset that puts thousands if not millions of US citizens who publicly discuss his crimes at risk of being murdered.
But thanks to the sociopsychological phenomenon of West-think, we Westerners sit and take it on the chops from the officials we ourselves elect.
We’re used to it. In West-think, censorship is a way of “preserving freedom.”

Washington Kills American Blogger in Ukrainian Prison
Ukrainian political scientist Volodymyr Kornilov
Vladimir Kornilov
Ukraine is genuinely perplexed by the wide resonance around the latest death of its opponent. It has already become the norm for Kiev to imprison or simply kill any critic of Volodymyr Zelensky's regime, without meeting any protests from the Western liberal public. On the night of January 11, another such critic, 55-year-old Gonzalo Lira, died in a prison hospital in Kharkiv. But this time, suddenly, there was a huge uproar. Because Lira had two passports – Chile and the United States. And the murder of an American citizen, from the point of view of the West, is a completely different matter.
Lira's case is also notable for the fact that it was written about a long time ago, discussed, and the US authorities were called upon to intervene, but they simply turned a blind eye to the slow and brutal murder, accompanied by torture in a Ukrainian pre-trial detention center. Lira's name has been heard at least three times within the walls of the State Department.
[Let me remind you once again that Ukraine is a Nazi regime that officially commemorates the birthday of known Nazi and Hitler collaborator Stepan Bandera.
Photo of Nazi sympathizers marching with a photo of their beloved Hitler collaborator. Ukraine also demolishes the monuments to the generals who helped defeat Hitler. It is mind-boggling that the Biden regime supports these Nazis wholeheartedly]
American blogger detained for "Russian propaganda" dies in Ukraine
January 12, 21:24
The first time this happened was on June 6 last year, when the speaker State Department Vedant Patel answered questions at length about how his department is trying to help arrested Americans around the world. But then he was asked an awkward question about why the State Department was making such a fuss about the arrested Russia Journalist Evan Gershkovich and completely hush up the arrest in Ukraine of Gonzalo Lira, an American citizen and journalist (we emphasize, this term was used within the walls of the State Department!). To which Patel hastened to avoid answering: "I don't have any specifics for you. Next question."
The question was then repeated there on August 1, with U.S. diplomats being informed of Lira's allegations of torture in custody. A spokesperson for the State Department, this time Matthew Miller, joked about it and promised to look into the matter. Eight days later, he was reminded of the promise and asked again about Lira's case, to which Miller replied evasively: "For reasons of confidentiality, I can't say anything more." For some reason, questions of "confidentiality" do not stop State Department representatives when they comment on any lawful detention of Americans in Russia. But when it comes to the arrest and torture of a U.S. citizen in Ukraine, this barrier suddenly appears.
It is not surprising that now top American bloggers and public figures are directly asking a question about this strange behavior of the State Department. Millionaire David Sachs was absolutely right to point out on social media: "The Biden administration could have brought Gonzalo Lira back with one phone call, but it didn't lift a finger. In this regard, the Ukrainian government knew that it could act with impunity." [Likewise, the Biden regime could have halted the open genocide in Gaza but chose not to, indirectly murdering over 20K civilians. This is a subtle way for your elected officials to commit atrocities. A US journalist was murdered this way in Palestine some time ago and no one was prosecuted. The US authorities did nothing]
Zakharova blamed the US for the death of blogger Lira
January 14, 18:39
And when Sachs was shown a video in which Lira openly criticized Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and said that she had a personal hatred for him, the businessman made another logical conclusion: "Since Victoria Nuland controls the State Department, which under normal circumstances returns its citizens home, it is probably not an exaggeration to say that it was these statements that led to his death." Thus, the powerful businessman actually blamed Nuland personally for the murder of her critic (and Sachs proves in several of his posts that it was exactly murder). [Nuland is a heartless Russia hating Neocon who played a significant role in the Maidan uprising through which she helped the Obama regime seize the reins of power in Kiev. As long as the US freign policy is wielded bu Neocon Russia haters like Nuland, we will continue to have the most dangerous and lawless government in the world. We will never be free of this nightmare until enough Americans have successfully shucked the shackles of West-think, a set of irrational beliefs based on unproven assumptions]
The father of the deceased blogger also has no doubts about who is to blame for the tragedy. He described in detail how he unsuccessfully tried to contact the State Department and the U.S. Embassy, which is headed by Victoria Nuland's closest ally. He concluded: "He was tortured, robbed, held incommunicado for eight months and eleven days, and the U.S. Embassy did nothing to help my son. The responsibility for this tragedy lies with the dictator Zelensky with the consent of the decrepit American President Joe Biden. My pain is unbearable. The world needs to know what is happening in Ukraine with this inhumane dictator Zelensky."
All sorts of American structures are now trying to hush up the scandal. And the main "argument": Lira was allegedly not a journalist. Earlier, when the blogger was alive, he was disowned by the Committee to Protect American Journalists, although they could not explain why Lira did not fall under their criteria. One can argue for a long time about whether the deceased should be called a journalist, but this is how he was called by the official Center for Countering Disinformation, created under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
New York - RIA Novosti, 1920, 13.12.2023
The U.S. Committee to Protect Journalists disavowed the American held by the SBU [Ukrainian intel agency, comparable to KGB]
13 December 2023, 20:48
In any case, what a citizen of Chile and the United States went through in Ukrainian torture chambers cannot but cause an angry reaction from the public, regardless of what the deceased was doing. After being released for some time, Lira described what he experienced in the Ukrainian pre-trial detention center: constant beatings, broken ribs, a toothpick in the eye, and so on. That is, with his death, Lira drew attention to what he had tried to tell the Western public during his lifetime: the inhuman nature of the dictatorial, Nazi regime in Ukraine. [It is telling that Russian authors such as the present one can unrestrainedly tell the truth, that Ukraine is a Nazi regime, yet public figures in the so-called “Free World” may not, for fear of reprisals! This is another example of what I call West-think]
Even the Security Service of Ukraine, when arresting the American, publicly stated that his only "sin" was publicly expressed thoughts! Even the headline of the official SBU report indicates that Lira was detained for "denying the crimes of the Rashists [Ukrainian slang for Russians]." Moreover, in this press release, the Ukrainian punishers were embarrassed to call the arrested a citizen of the United States, it said: "The defendant holds citizenship in one of the Latin American countries."
Although the indictment shows that the SBU was well aware of the American citizenship by birth, which Lira had (he was born in California). This conclusion is in fact a direct accusation of the Ukrainian regime of a crime against freedom of speech. Since all that the blogger is accused of are his video posts, where he tells the truth about the special operation in Ukraine and the crimes of the Kiev regime. Moreover, he talks in detail, accompanying his words with facts and quotes. [Again, Ukraine and the West are officially considered part of the “Free world,” but only the Eastern world is allowed to report certain details about Ukraine in their msm. It is mind boggling that tax money is extorted from Americans to send to a Nazi regime that denies its residents, and even foreign reporters, the most basic free speech rights, and the donor country, the US, allows this regime to imprison US citizens for exercising rights that most Americans call God-given and that whose constitution protects.]
Dmitry Medvedev - RIA Novosti, 1920, 14.01.2024
Moderators X should have followed the fate of Gonzalo Lira, Medvedev said
January 14, 15:23
In one of his last posts, on the eve of the first arrest, in April last year, Lira warned the world about the [future] failure of Ukraine's planned adventurous counteroffensive. Quoting Zelensky, the blogger honestly warned: "He knows that the lives of all these people will be wasted." Now they are shouting about it openly in Ukraine. That is, Lira was telling the truth. And it was for this truth that he was thrown behind bars, where he was then slowly and methodically murdered. So far, Washington has turned away and pretended not to notice the murder of its citizen. [Clearly the Biden team – like many US politicians – does not believe in our constitutional rights. This forebodes a possible future crackdown on all kinds of freedoms protected by the Constitution. West-thinking Americans pave the way for their own downfall by gradually accepting more and more such authoritarian actions]
To reiterate, in this way the Kiev regime has already eliminated many of its critics. Lira himself, realizing what awaited him, at the same time, in April last year, gave an incomplete list of Zelensky's opponents killed and arrested. But no one in the West even spoke about their elimination – they are not Americans, they are not "people of the highest class." Lira's death changes things. Now it will be difficult to remain silent about the bloody nature of the dictatorial regime in Kiev. As well as the fact that Washington is directly involved in its crimes.

Here's your daily air strike update for Jan 16, 2024
Translation with my notes in bold and [brackets]
Interesting fact about the final retaliatory strike :
All 8 Kh-59 missiles (subsonic, medium-range) were fired at the Impulse plant in Shostki - founded by Nikolas I and the only one in Ukraine that produces detonators and all types of ammunition. Miners will especially miss its products. It was as if they heard us from above: they dealt a massive blow to one plant, turning parts of it into ruins. Although one missile was shot down, the target was destroyed.
Two facts from Mikhail Onufrienko:
According to his calculations, ~250 thousand Russian voluntary contract soldiers out of half a million who signed up in 2023 are not present in the fields of the Northern Military District. They are in strategic reserve.
Military warehouses are filled to capacity with weapons.
Conclusion: if a decision is made at the very top about a strategic offensive, everything is ready for this - both people and weapons.

The Russian army began carpet bombing the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the Inferno UAV
16 January 2024
The Russian military in a number of areas in the SMO [special military operation] zone began to use special Inferno bomber drones for carpet bombing Ukrainian positions.
This was reported to the RIA Novosti agency in the development company Rustechdron. They emphasized the high efficiency of the use of these drones, each of which is equipped with nine slots for dropping grenades.
"In the course of a combat mission, it passes over Ukrainian trenches, opens the bomb bays and drops grenades in a series of three. It turns out to be an analogue of carpet bombing in large aviation. As a result, the enemy's personnel suffer losses in killed and wounded. The drone can also bomb effectively" he said in a statement.
At the same time, it is noted that the drone does not need to hover over the trenches due to the presence of an additional downward-directed sighting bomber camera - the device drops bombs on the move.
The developers emphasized that this technology significantly increases the survivability of drones, while a hovering drone can be easily shot down with small arms.
The company also assured that the Inferno drones are capable of effectively destroying lightly armored vehicles. Currently, Rustechdron has already sent hundreds of these new unmanned bombers to Russian units in the SMO zone.
Earlier, EADaily reported that according to Newsweek, Russia's modernized Kub attack drones have amazing features and will be a problem for Ukraine.

Remember that Russophobia is the main motivator of the Neocons in Washington, and that Neocons are the writers and enforcers of US foreign policy.
This makes Russophobia incredibly dangerous because, in the hands of the Biden regime, it has been leading the world to the brink of nuclear war!

Russophobia: The Roots and the Crown
15.01.2024 • Sergey Filatov , columnist for "International Affairs" ; Andrei Volodin , political scientist, PhD(History), professor
From an analytical perspective, Russophobia is not all that different from other social phenomena. Like other forms of xenophobia, Russophobia operates on two levels: public fears and state policies. The boundaries between these two levels are often relative, fluid, and subject to change.
The authors suggest that Russophobia is a significant yet specific form of xenophobia, which represents a rejection of something foreign, unfamiliar, and therefore potentially dangerous to the established way of life in a given society. This perceived threat may be viewed as endangering the very existence of the established order of things. As historical experience has shown, xenophobia can arise from a sense of inferiority (either genetically inherited or acquired), stem from a “failed great power” complex that places the blame on a disliked neighboring state (or a perennial geopolitical rival), or emerge from the constant fear of the territorial size and military potential of the “demonized” power, etc. Consequently, given the present tumultuous events and developments, it is not surprising that Russophobia today is the comprehensive dismissal of Russian culture, way of life, mindset, and the overall life paradigm of the entire Russian super-ethnos. Presently, Russophobia also represents a unique manifestation of domestic/existential fear concerning Russia’s recovery from its “lethargic sleep” – or, as it has been labeled in the West, “Moscow’s revisionist foreign policy.”

Helga LaRouche: a rare Westerner who effectively combats West-think
‘NO, THERE IS A LIMIT TO THE TYRANT’S POWER! SUPPORT THE BRAVE SAVIORS OF GERMANY!’ BY HELGA ZEPP-LAROUCHE
Jan. 12—The following statement was issued for mass circulation at the planned demonstration of farmers and supporters in Berlin Jan. 15 which culminates the week of action that began on Jan. 8. It was written by Helga Zepp-LaRouche, EIR Editor-in-Chief, and founder and leader of the Schiller Institute.
No, there is a limit to the tyrant’s power!
When the oppressed man finds no justice,
When the burden grows unbearable,
He appeals with fearless heart to heaven,
And thence, brings down his everlasting rights,
Which there abide, inalienably his,
And indestructible as the stars themselves.
This is what it says in the Rütli Oath from Friedrich Schiller’s Wilhelm Tell.
German farmers are doing exactly that: They are opposing the arbitrariness and incompetence of a policy that pursues only the interests of international cartels and profit maximization by speculators, and ignores the population’s right to affordable, regionally produced food. Farmers represent the interests of all of us, and that is why it is of vital importance that all parts of society support them, as craftsmen, truck drivers, haulers, and others already do.

The U.S. is Starting Another War to Distract from Landmark Case Against Israel
RACHEL BLEVINS
JAN 15, 2024
Biden has approved a second round of strikes in Yemen, which his administration claims is in retaliation for Ansar Allah's targeting of Israel-linked ships in the Red Sea.
But while the U.S. is defending Israel publicly, politically and militarily, it's also trying to distract from the historic genocide case South Africa has brought against Israel in the International Court of Justice.
South Africa's team has laid out a thorough case, pointing to Israel's genocidal rhetoric (Defense Minister Gallant saying there would be "no electricity, no food, no fuel") and genocidal actions (23,000+ Palestinians killed, 70% of whom are women and children, 7,000+ buried under rubble, 60,000+ injured), while Israel continues to say "but Hamas..." as if the Oct. 7 attack they were warned about and ignored is justification for committing genocide.

How Israeli forces trapped and killed ravers at the Nova Festival
William Van Wagenen
The Cradle.co
Fri, 12 Jan 2024 00:00 UTC
victims
New evidence points to Israeli security forces, not Hamas, for causing the most fatalities at the music festival - civilian deaths [of Israelis] that were then utilized to justify Tel Aviv's Gaza genocide.
Israeli officials allege that Hamas carried out a pre-mediated and carefully executed massacre of 364 Israeli civilians at the Nova music festival near Gaza on 7 October as part of the Palestinian resistance's Operation Al-Aqsa Flood. They claim that Hamas and other Palestinians had hours to murder Israeli partygoers before the army reached the scene.
However, new details have emerged showing that Israel's Border Police was deployed at the Nova site before Hamas stumbled on the festival, causing the eruption of a major battle.
While some ravers were indeed killed by the Palestinian resistance - whether by intent or in the chaos of battle - the evidence now suggests that the majority of civilian deaths were likely inflicted by Israeli forces themselves.
This was due to the overwhelming firepower employed by occupation forces - including from Apache attack helicopters - and because Tel Aviv issued the controversial Hannibal Directive to prevent Hamas from taking Israeli party-goers as captives. [the Hannibal Directive instructed the authorities to kill both Hamas militants and Israeli civilians. Apparently the goal was to stage a false flag, giving the Israelis a pretext to perpetrate the genocide in Palestine]
Operation Philistine Horseman
At 6:30 am, just after sunrise on 7 October, fighters from the Hamas military wing, the Qassam Brigades, launched their military operation, firing a barrage of missiles toward Israel. Thousands of its fighters and those from other factions breached the Gaza border fence in multiple locations to attack surrounding Israeli military bases and take captives in settlements as leverage for a mass prisoner swap deal.
Though it would take the army hours to respond, units of the Border Police were quickly deployed. At 6:42 am, a mere 12 minutes after Operation Al-Aqsa Flood [the Hamas operation] was launched, the Southern District Commander of the Israeli Police, Amir Cohen, gave an order code-named "Philistine Horseman," sending police officers and Border Police who were on alert to the sites of various battles.
This included members of the Yamam, and Tequila commando units that have no police duties but conduct military and counter-terrorism operations, including undercover assassinations in the Gaza Strip and occupied-West Bank.
According to a senior Israeli officer speaking to the New York Times, the first formal reinforcements to southern Israel came from commandos that arrived by helicopter.
Sagi Abitbol, a policeman working as a security guard at the festival, was among the first to confront Hamas fighters near Nova, and witnessed the early arrival of these helicopters.
During the fighting, 59 Israeli police officers were killed, including at least 17 at the Nova festival.
Hamas did not plan to attack the festival
Avi Mayer of the Jerusalem Post asserted that Hamas carefully planned to attack the concert in advance, intending to murder as many Israeli civilians as possible. The facts, though, tell an entirely different story. [ONLY the Israelis deliberately targeted civilians]
An Israeli police investigation reported by Haaretz indicates that Hamas was unaware of the festival in advance. The official findings suggest that the intended target was Re'im, a settlement and military base located just down the road - on Route 232 - from the Nova site.
