The world’s growing low-key war on Israel
Different nations and individuals of the world are dealing with the Israeli genocide and expressing to Israel their displeasure with the many atrocities it is committing in Palestine.
This issue of our newsletter carries clues as to how different nations and individuals of the world are dealing with the Israeli genocide and expressing to Israel their displeasure with the many atrocities it is committing in Palestine.
I was amazed at the large number of attendees of the International Labor Conference in Geneva who staged a conspicuous walkout when the Israeli delegate stood up to speak.
This was mirrored by the massive worldwide street protests and campus encampments on behalf of Palestine and the growing list of states recognizing Palestinian statehood and others condemning Israel in response to various international court decisions. Not to mention Hezbollah’s rocket attacks on northern Israel leading to the evacuation of illegal settlements.
It was also surprising to see that 2 members of the pro-Palestine resistance had joined forces to attack ships involved in Israeli trade. Members of the Iraqi Islamic Resistance joined forces with the Houthis to open a new front in the rocket campaign against ships routed to and from Israel. Previously, the Houthis were attacking primarily one Israeli port, ie, Eilat, on the Red Sea side of the country.
However, just today we read for the first time of a joint rocket attack by the Houthis and the Iraqi Islamic Resistance on the Mediterranean side, ie, the port of Haifa. The strikes on Eilat had taken a sizeable bite out of the auto import trade. But the port of Haifa, unlike Eilat, receives all kinds of imports including containers, general freight, bulk, grains, chemicals, vehicles, fuel, and general freight.
If maritime shippers and their insurers eventually come to assess the risk of doing business with Israel as too high, one after the other, they could start to shy away from the genocidal state and that would be a steep price to pay for the luxury of slaughtering innocent Palestinians.

Houthis carried out an operation against Israeli ships in Haifa
[As I recall, the Houthis had been operating only on the east side of Israel in the Red Sea, impeding shipping traffic to Eilat, an auto-importingt port. Haifa is on the opposite side at the Mediterranean, so if they are now also striking there, then they are attempting to block ALL shipping to Israel, including containers, general freight, bulk, grains, chemicals, vehicles, fuel, etc, a major feat if they can accomplish it. This would really hurt Israeli trade severely. The knock-on effects would include refusal of insurance companies to insure ships to that destination and refusal of shipping companies to ship there – and further, since it is now known that the Houthis can reach the Mediterranean side, eventual refusal of companies to insure or ship to anywhere in Israel. Now THAT would hurt]

DOHA, June 6 – RIA Novosti. The Yemeni armed forces carried out an operation against Israeli ships in the port of Haifa, the Shiite movement Ansar Allah (Houthis) ruling in the north of the country, told Al-Masirah TV channel.
“The Yemeni Armed Forces conducted their first two joint military operations with the Iraqi Islamic Resistance movement, attacking two ships carrying military equipment in the port of Haifa, as well as a ship that violated a decision banning entry into the port of Haifa in occupied Palestine,” the statement said. .

Situation in Yemen
The Ansar Allah movement, which controls much of Yemen's Red Sea coast, began attacking Israeli-linked ships as the Middle East conflict escalated, causing shipping traffic through the Suez Canal to plummet.
The Houthis explain their actions as helping the Palestinians and say they are not interfering with freedom of navigation in the region. Arab and Muslim countries have repeatedly warned the United States that unconditional support for Israel's actions in Gaza will lead to the spread of the conflict throughout the region.
The United States and Great Britain, in turn, began striking Houthi targets in mid-January. A member of the highest political council of the Ansar Allah movement, Muhammad Ali al-Houthi, called these attacks a terrorist barbarity, deliberate and unjustified aggression.

STRATEGIC STRIKE AGAINST THE WEST: WHAT ARE RUSSIA AND ITS ALLIES UP TO? LIVE BROADCAST
A strategic strike on the West is already being prepared. A new policy is being formed - the geopolitics of a multipolar world. What exactly will it be? What are Russia and its allies preparing? The answer to these questions can be found in the live broadcast of Tsargrad.
More and more people in the world are saying “Enough!” of Europe, the USA and their politics. The world must change. It's already changing. A strategic strike on the West is already being prepared. What will happen next? What are Russia and its allies preparing for the so-called collective West?
Today, these issues will be discussed live by leading experts from different countries at the multipolarity forum [in St. Petersburg]. The moderator will be Alexander Dugin, philosopher, ideologist of the Russian World, chairman of the organizing committee, director of the Ivan Ilyin [Ilyin is Putin’s favorite philosopher, although Western ignoramuses keep saying Dugin is, even calling Dugin “Putin’s brain”] Higher Political School.
Among the forum participants are the founder of Tsargrad Konstantin Malofeev, official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, geopolitician, journalist, specialist in world economics and international relations Pepe Escobar, chairman of the International Movement of Russophiles Nkosi Zwelivilile Mandela and others. Including an online speech by former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter, who was previously not allowed into Russia by order of the US State Department. [Thus, the Biden regime was unsuccessful in preventing Ritter from presenting at the forum]
Let us note that the philosophy of multipolarity is a fundamentally new approach to international politics, where there is no hegemon and no single system of universal values, as a result of which the philosophical foundations and traditional values of all civilizations participating in this process must be taken into account.
The round table will be attended by representatives of Western civilization who condemn and reject globalism, hegemony and the one-man dictatorship of the West - the so-called Western civilizational dissidents, who sharply criticize the direction followed by modern Western globalist elites.
Is an alternative West possible? What prospects does the intercivilizational dialogue of the BRICS countries open for the development of international relations? What are the prospects for de-dollarization of the global economy? Forum participants will discuss these and other questions live.
Tsargrad is broadcasting the meeting live.

IISS Institute: Small and large missile surprises in Sanaa and Tehran
Yemeni Toofan missile
In this article published by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) website, military specialist Fabian Hinz explains that the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Yemeni army, and the popular committees continue to modernize and develop Yemen’s arsenal of ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and direct attack munitions. This will enhance Yemen's role in any military confrontation on multiple arenas and fronts with the interim entity [Israel], as is happening now in the "Al-Aqsa Flood" battle. Hennis talks about capabilities with a range of approximately 2,000 kilometers, which means a threat to a large part of the geography of the occupying entity.
What also confirms this matter is the admission by the United States of America, a few days ago, that its destroyer USS Carney, which is in the Red Sea, intercepted drones and missiles near the coast of Yemen, which was in the form of a large barrage and more sustained than was previously known. Pentagon sources claimed that the American ship was able to shoot down 4 cruise missiles and 15 drones while heading north along the Red Sea, over a period of 9 hours. Confirming that its path left no doubt that it was heading to the occupying entity.
Translated text from the trenches website:
On September 21, 2023, the Ansar Allah movement (Houthis) in Yemen organized a military parade in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, to commemorate the ninth anniversary of its takeover of the city. Among the capabilities on display were several types of ballistic missiles and cruise missiles of Iranian origin that had not been displayed before.
The offer contributed to strengthening close relations between Tehran and its Houthi ally, and the former's clear willingness to supply the missile systems it recently revealed inside Iran. Tehran also appears to be continuing to improve the capabilities of some types of medium-range surface-to-surface missiles that it has already provided to the Houthis. Another derivative of Iran's liquid-fueled Qiam missile with a range of 1,000 km, named "Aqeel", was displayed for the first time at the parade.
This is the second version of Qiam with the same final guidance demonstrated by the Houthis, the first being "Al-Falaq", which was displayed in 2022. While derivatives of Qiam appeared in the pre-ceasefire Houthi missile campaign against Saudi Arabia and the UAE, the variants used in These attacks often appear to have been ill-directed. The emergence of the "Qiam" variants with final guidance in Yemen indicates a qualitative upgrade to the Houthis' arsenal of longer-range ballistic missiles.
Another liquid-fueled missile revealed by the Houthis is the Toofan, which appears to be a rebranded Iranian Qadr missile. The Toofan missile can have a range of 1,350-1,950 kilometers, enough to put Israel within striking distance. In the past, the Houthis made threats against Eilat and Tel Aviv.
Strong progress
A solid-fuel missile called “Tankeel” was displayed, which is very similar to the “Zahir/Raad 500” missile developed by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and has a range of 500 kilometers. The Zoheir missile, which was only unveiled in 2020, represents one of Iran's newest solid-fuel missiles. As with the “Khyber Shekhan” – which the Houthis first displayed in 2022 and renamed Hatem – it demonstrates Iran’s desire to transfer advanced systems to its Yemeni ally. In addition to the regular precision-guided land attack version of the missile, the Houthi display also included a previously unseen anti-ship version. If the anti-ship version of the Tenkeel and the previously disclosed Asif variant, an anti-ship version of the Iranian Fatah with a claimed range of 400 km, are operational, they will enable the Houthis to target shipping in the Red Sea as well as parts of the Gulf of Aden.
Naval cruise missile options
Yemeni Sayyad cruise missile
The Houthis also used the show to display other versions of the Al-Quds cruise missile. Quds-4 is the latest addition to the family, although there is no information explaining how it differs from previous versions. However, increasing the range is an option. It appears that the final guidance has been added to two other types of Al-Quds missiles. The Hunter was described as being equipped with a radar device for an anti-ship role, with a claimed range of 800 kilometres. The Quds Z-0 missile appears to have an electro-optical or infrared seeker, and is claimed to be capable of engaging land and sea targets. While there is little doubt about the Iranian origins of the Quds missiles, Tehran has not publicly acknowledged the missile for several years.
The first sign of Iranian recognition came in February 2023, when Iranian media published footage of a cruise missile, dubbed the Paweh, which resembled the Quds missile. The basic design of the Quds missile was known in Iran as the 351. However, this version of the Pawh missile differed in its canister launch design with a folding wing. During Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu's visit to Tehran in August 2023, Iran displayed another version of Paoh at the IRGC's aerospace exhibition. Finally, Iran publicly displayed a version of the missile in September at the annual Sacred Defense Week parade in Tehran.
Hybrid weapons
Days after Shoygu's visit, other information also emerged about the IRGC's Shahed family of direct attack munitions (or one-way attack unmanned aerial vehicles), which were already supplied to Moscow in large quantities. Footage from a documentary about the Aerospace Industries Research Center of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard showed testing of a turboprop version of the Shahed 136.
Days after Shoygu's visit, other information also emerged about the IRGC's Shahed family of direct attack munitions (or one-way attack unmanned aerial vehicles), which were already supplied to Moscow in large quantities. Footage from a documentary about the IRGC's Aerospace Industries Research Center showed testing of a turboprop version of the Shahed 136. The jet-powered version of the Shahed would be much faster than the current piston-engined version but would likely have a reduced range. Another clip has emerged showing a jet-powered Delta Shad equipped with a gimbal camera, suggesting either loitering capability or some form of terminal guidance. It is unclear whether the system is already working or is still under development.
However, Iran appears to be joining the ranks of countries such as Israel, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates, whose development of jet-powered loitering munitions is blurring the lines between loitering munitions, direct attack munitions, and cruise missiles.
Iran continues to modernize its long-range precision weapons and, at least until recently, has helped its local Yemeni ally, Ansar Allah, do the same with its own arsenal. With Iranian assistance, the Houthis have been able to build an array of precision-guided missiles, ballistic missiles, ground-attack cruise missiles, and anti-ship capabilities in a remarkably short period of time. But what is not certain is whether everything that is being shown is in service or not. Furthermore, it is not known whether any of the additions to the Houthi arsenal were delivered after the end of the Saudi-Iranian détente in March 2023, which reportedly included provisions requiring Iran to cease supply the Houthis with weapons. It remains to be seen whether Iran will continue to equip the Houthis with more advanced long-range weapons or reduce or stop the flow of weapons and production equipment to the Yemeni group.
