Who needs Jesus, when you can have Trump?
I just got done reading how some Trump supporters think Trump is now the MESSIAH, who was saved by God so he could save America.
It’s all a diversion. The REAL stories aren’t being told.
Our “Messiah” won’t even talk about the Palestinians, who are being murdered every day by US bombs. (They killed 40 of them today, including children)
I dread to think what will happen to them when the “Messiah” – who shows nothing but contempt for them – arrives in the Oval Office.
We are being conned SOOOO badly.
Remember when Christians were taught that the Messiah was Jesus?
Now “Christian” Zionism is the new “Christianity.” We don’t need Jesus, we have Trump. (Remember Jim Jones?)

Trump would pour petrol on Biden’s flames

President Joe Biden’s dismal debate performance raises the likelihood of Israeli annexation of the West Bank with support from Donald Trump in a second term. Artem PriakhinZUMAPRESS
[Why annexation of the West Bank is bad and illegal.
International law (Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention) prohibits "transfers of the population of an occupying power to occupied territories", incurring a responsibility on the part of Israel's to not settle Israeli citizens in the West Bank.[66]”. Trump does not believe in international law and wants Israel to have this land. Not because of any moral or legal reasons but because AIPAC helped get him elected (which is why he belongs in jail, for letting a foreign enemy interfere in US elections). Eventually, the original inhabitants will be kicked out if Trump is elected. For Trump, international law is valid only when it applies to the US and is favorable to it. This is because he is a hegemonic scumbag. But then, so is Biden. Frankly, both of these gents belong in jail for aiding and abetting Israel in stealing land from the Palestinians. Of course, this will not happen soon, but the idea of making criminals pay for their crimes needs to be instilled in the US public, which has been misled over the 75 years since the creation of the Israeli pseudo-state to believe that Israelis and their accomplices are above the law. We now see the result in the Palestinian genocide, which MUST be stopped]
Democrats roused from their slumber with Biden’s even-worse-than-expected debate performance last week.
Suddenly, there is talk of party insiders finding a replacement for Biden, a process that would surely be a contentious spectacle and rife with corruption if Vice President Kamala Harris, Biden’s Gaza genocide deputy, does not take the reins.
Other Democratic presidential candidates named by The New York Times are California Governor Gavin Newsom, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, and Senators Cory Booker of New Jersey and Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota.
CNN on Wednesday highlighted Pritzker and Newsom as candidates.
Late last month, Newsom excoriated protesters of a real estate event for stolen Palestinian land taking place at a California synagogue. Avoiding the land theft facts of the case, he blamed “anti-Semitic hatred” and disregarded that police, as at UCLA weeks earlier, again stood aside (until their own space was encroached upon) while just feet away pro-Palestinian protesters were physically attacked and harassed. [Which is why Newsom must also be arrested and jailed]
All of these potential candidates can be expected to oversee further disaster for Palestinians. Biden, for his part, abetted nearly three years of oppressive Israeli policies against Palestinians and then vigorously stirred after 7 October to provide Israel with further weapons for crimes against humanity in Gaza.
[That’s because the entire Congress has sold out to AIPAC. Which is why we need to arrest any official who accepts bribes from genocidal AIPAC]

How can a person recover from the horror of what he saw? How can he live an everyday life after everything that happened to him and all this displacement, destruction, killing, and death? How can a normal person witness all these massacres and see how a person becomes a pile of body parts? Some of them are on the ground, and the remains of “Unknown No. 15” are written next to them. These scenes continue to play out, every day, for months. Can a person ever heal?
An ordinary person who follows the course of the war on television and on social media may experience great sadness as a result of what he sees. But experiencing the massacre and genocide first hand, researching its details, seeing its victims, listening to their stories and their helpless words, then writing their stories, word after word, feeling after feeling – is something else entirely. The writer listens to these stories over and over again, each one reminding him of his own personal experience, to the point that he becomes weak and has no choice but to break down in tears.
Not a single story that I have published from October until now has been devoid of every single one of these emotions. There is not a single story devoid of its owners’ crying. Every family I went to meet in Gaza, the family was sitting in front of me with tears streaming down their face during a conversation. They could not stop, and in every story, I was in front of these people. Despite my persistent attempts to control my tears, I always failed and found myself crying with them and quickly trying to focus again and maintain my role as a journalist.
Working in the journalistic field during this genocide has never been more complicated than it has been in my entire life. For example, I had to go to meet children who had lost all of their families, and all that remained of them was the child whom I was going to meet.
When I went to meet these children, I always felt that asking my questions might be like walking in a minefield. A word or question could make this child lose his senses, burst into tears, or scream. They had lost all of their family. But I always tried to carry sweets and toys with me, talk to them, meet them, and seek help from the people who care for them and take care of them inside the hospitals.
When I went anywhere in the southern Gaza Strip, I would see many buildings whose destroyed walls bore the writing: “the people from this family that were bombed are still under the rubble.” They remained under the rubble for weeks and months without anyone being able to get them out.
How can a person recover from the sight of the trained dog that attacked an older woman in her home in Jabalia and bit her arm while she was screaming? Every Palestinian who saw this older woman felt she was his mother or grandmother. We are the ones documenting all this. When will we recover from all this sadness that we observe and document, and all this injustice that happens to our family and friends without being able to stop it? How will we forgive ourselves for having witnessed all of this and for it to continue to occur in our lives?
This war has brought sadness to all the families of the Gaza Strip without exception. Every family in the Gaza Strip has lost a lot, not to mention the home that almost all the families of the Gaza Strip have lost. Sadness looms over the hearts of the Palestinians in Gaza. It is slowly killing them and turning them into people who are losing hope little by little.

ISRAEL COMMITS THREE MASSACRES ACROSS GAZA IN LESS THAN ONE HOUR
The Cradle reports: The Israeli army committed new massacres against Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip on 16 July, reportedly killing at least 40.
The Health Ministry in Gaza announced on Tuesday that 17 people, including several children, were killed and at least 26 injured following an Israeli attack near the designated “safe zone” in the coastal Al-Mawasi area west of the southern city of Khan Younis.
Tel Aviv claimed the attack targeted a commander in the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement.
Israeli forces also shelled a UNRWA school housing displaced civilians in the Nuseirat camp in central Gaza, killing at least 23 and wounding dozens. Women and children were among the dead. Israel said Hamas “terrorists” were operating inside the school.
In the northern city of Beit Lahia, four Palestinian civilians were killed and five wounded in an Israeli attack near the Sheikh Zayed Roundabout.
At least 40 have been killed in total.

‘WE ARE KILLED BY AMERICAN MISSILES’: NUSEIRAT SCHOOL ATTACK SURVIVOR
Video footage verified by Al Jazeera’s fact-checking agency Sanad has seen a young man carry the remnants of the rockets that targeted a school in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
He lamented that the displaced Palestinians were being killed by Israel with American missiles.
“We found children beheaded and people turned into corpses and body parts inside the school, and I cannot describe the scene from the horror of the bombing,” he said.
The footage documented the destruction and the body parts scattered in the courtyard of the school, which was crowded with displaced people.

Fighting in the Kharkov region on July 17: missile attack on mobilized soldiers, losses
Russian military correspondents discuss the latest events in the Kharkov region in their Telegram channels. What news came out from this section of the Northern Military District front today, July 17, 2024, what is happening in Volchansk and Liptsy? Read more in the NEWS.ru review.
The situation in the Kharkov region today, July 17
“In the Volchansky direction there are fierce battles in the village. Volchansk village. After unsuccessful counterattacks, the enemy resumed the transfer of reinforcements to the right bank of the Volchya River. During the day, the North group thwarted eight attempts to cross the river and repelled one counterattack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, destroying up to 25 Nazis. The first Ukrainian Armed Forces militants from among the former prisoners are beginning to surrender. In the Staritsa area, after regrouping, the enemy resumed attacking operations, launching two counterattack attempts. It was not successful and lost up to five militants killed. In the forest west of Sinelnikovo, TOS-1A crews covered the positions of the 57th Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, enemy losses are being clarified. The total advance of Russian troops in the Volchansky direction amounted to 50 meters,” writes North Wind.
The authors of the channel noted that in Volchansk, Russian aviation completely destroyed the South Bridge, through the ruins of which the Ukrainian Armed Forces infantry had the opportunity to penetrate to the right bank of the Volchya River; now in this section it is only possible to cross the river by swimming. In the Liptsevsky direction, the “fearless” continue to repel attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of the settlement of Glubokoye, the source said.
“During the day, six counterattacks totaling up to 60 militants were repelled, more than 35 Nazis were destroyed. Russian Aerospace Forces aircraft carried out one ODAB-1500 [bomb] strike on the location of the 13th NSU brigade in the village. Liptsy village. Over the past 24 hours, enemy losses amounted to more than 200 people. Also, an M198 howitzer was struck and destroyed in the area. Volokhovskoe village; two D-20 howitzers in thearea. n. Nursery and Russian Tishki; Self-propelled gun 2S3 "Akatsiya" in the area of the village. n. Russian Tishki; two 120-mm mortars in the area of n. village Staritsa and Rubezhnoye; Anklav electronic warfare station "; PU UAV; BP warehouse; two units of automotive equipment,” pointed out Severny Veter.
The authors of the channel said that after regrouping and restoring combat capability, the Ukrainian Armed Forces resumed attacks on Glubokoye and intend to capture it at any cost, regardless of losses. [This recklessness is one reason why the Ukrainian losses are so high.]
“The 92nd Separate Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is repeating last year’s “success” of the 47th Separate Brigade near Rabotino and is actively grinding against the defense of the “fearless”. The enemy will continue to increase efforts in the Kharkov direction and will use very significant resources for this. The Kiev regime needs a local victory to prevent a reduction in support from the West, since the state of Ukraine itself can no longer maintain its existence, Severny Veter added.
Voyennaya Khronika wrote that yesterday there was another effective strike by Iskander [a hypersonic missile] on the reserves of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kharkov region.
“It is curious that the strike hit a training ground where, apparently, reinforcements from or understaffed units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine/NSU are undergoing combat coordination. The proximity to the front line does not bother the Ukrainian generals, which indirectly indicates a rush to prepare reserves. And this, in turn, indirectly proves the large losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in one of the key areas,” the source said.
Ukrainian ex-politician Oleg Tsarev wrote that on the Kharkov front there are oncoming battles in Volchansk, neither side has an advantage.
“In the Liptsy area, the enemy attacks almost continuously, trying to capture Glubokoye, but without success; the Russian Armed Forces are holding their lines,” he added.
The Royal Air Force Grob G120TP-A Prefect T1 aerobatic training aircraft was spotted over the territory of Ukraine last night, in particular near Kharkov, according to data from the Flightradar service. According to the service, it first appeared on Tuesday at 18:26 Moscow time in the Kirovograd region of Ukraine. The plane flew over different regions of Ukraine, including Kharkov, Sumy, Nikolaev and Chernigov. At approximately 01:32 Grob G120TP-A Prefect T1 disappeared near the village of Chabanovka in the Transcarpathian region.
Severny Veter yesterday published important information for residents of Kharkov and the Kharkov region.
“The Underground reports that reinforcements from Western Ukraine have arrived at the local territorial recruitment centers of Kharkov city and oblast to control and strengthen mobilization efforts to catch “cannon fodder.” territorial recruitment center officers from Lvov, Ternopil and other Western cities will take charge of recruiting new units for a potential “counter-offensive.” According to the Kiev authorities, it is the residents of the original Russian lands who should go into the senseless meat grinder near Glubokoe and Volchansk, while the population in the west can be given some relief with a mass conscription,” the source said.

Russia has no illusions about Trump

Why won't Trump's presidency change anything?
Yuri Svetov urged not to place high hopes on Donald Trump coming to power in America. The political scientist noted that even if he wins, it will not change anything fundamentally:
We must get rid of our illusions about Trump. Many people here sympathize with Trump, believing that he will change something. Trump's slogan is "Make America Great Again." What is great America? This is America, which commands the whole world. That's all. She just commands in other forms. Not in the way Biden does, but in others. But they are not going to give up their role as the head of the world.

People who care about Palestine are protesting, camping out on campuses, writing letters to callous Congress, and I sincerely admire the grit and determination of Gen Z and others who genuinely care about the most vulnerable people on earth.
But the only ones actually DOING something meaningful are the resistance fronts, notably the humble Houthis, who promise to keep attacking all Israel-related shipping until the genocide in Palestine stops.
They have succeeded in bankrupting the port of Eilat on the Red Sea side of Israel. This is not to belittle Hezbollah, which is keeping up serious pressure on the northern settlements and has persuaded countless illegal settlers to leave for good.
Yet when you look at the news, none of these accomplishments show up. Yet it is the unsung heroes of the Resistance who are changing world history.

‘Yemenis Cut Off Access’ – Israeli Port of Eilat Declares Bankruptcy

By Palestine Chronicle Staff
The Israeli port of Eilat has officially declared bankruptcy due to a significant decline in commercial activities and revenues, a senior official confirmed.
This downturn is attributed to the naval blockade imposed by Yemen’s Ansarallah group on Israeli-linked cargo ships since last November.
“It must be acknowledged that the port is in a state of bankruptcy,” stated Gideon Golber, CEO of Eilat Port. “Only one ship has arrived here in recent months. The Yemenis have effectively cut off access to the port.”
Earlier this month, the port of Eilat requested financial assistance from the government, having remained inactive since Tel Aviv launched its latest war on Gaza in October last year.
In December, Golber reported an 85 percent decline in operations since the Yemeni Armed Forces began targeting Israeli-linked ships in the Red Sea. He also indicated that if the situation continued, Eilat Port might need to temporarily lay off employees.
Meanwhile, the ports of Ashdod and Haifa on the Mediterranean are preparing for a potential “escalation from the North with Hezbollah,” according to the Jerusalem Post. Both ports are within range of Hezbollah’s missiles.
Shaul Schneider, Chairman of Ashdod Port, warned that if the northern front opens with Hezbollah, all of Israel’s ports except for Ashdod will become inoperative due to the escalation in the north and the closure of Eilat Port.
In an interview with Israeli newspaper Maariv, Schneider noted that Ashdod is the only government port and emphasized that Israel is effectively an “island nation,” with 99 percent of its goods arriving by sea.
He explained that Ashdod handles 40 percent of these goods and has recently served both Israeli and American security and military institutions with their ships.
Schneider highlighted that Ashdod is a critical strategic facility that continues to operate despite being targeted by missiles.
Arab Resistance
Starting in November, Ansarallah has joined other Arab Resistance groups in targeting Israel amid a bloody Israeli onslaught against the Gaza Strip.
The other groups include Lebanon’s Hezbollah, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq and, as of late, the Islamic Resistance in Bahrain.
The Ansarallah’s position was directly linked to Israel’s policy of starving Palestinians in Gaza. But instead of demanding an end to the Israeli siege on Gaza, the US began attacking Ansarallah positions in Yemen, killing and wounding many.
In June, the group announced that it launched its “fourth stage of escalation” against Israel until the Israeli war ends and the Gaza siege is lifted.
Saree said in a statement at the time that Ansarallah members “will target all ships headed to Israeli ports in any area we reach regardless of their nationality and destination.”
Furthermore, “the Yemeni group will impose comprehensive sanctions on all ships that belong to companies that are linked to Israeli ports, shall Israel carry out a ground invasion of Rafah,” according to Saree.
Earlier this year, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin announced a multinational mission, Operation Prosperity Guardian, to counter Ansarallah attacks. [Don’t be surprised if the Houthis manage to inflict serious damage on a US aircraft carrier with one of their ballistic missiles.]

Outraged emerged after a missile strike killed two and injured 16 at Kiev’s largest children’s hospital, with the US vowing to send more military aid in response.
Yet, when Israel struck dozens of hospitals inside the Gaza Strip, using mainly US weapons, killing hundreds and injuring thousands in total, there was almost complete silence.

Question for Trump supporters:
Why doesn't billionaire Donald Trump defend defenseless Palestinians against Benjamin Netanyahu's genocide campaign?
Answer:
As the saying goes, "like attracts like". Both Netanyahu and Trump believe the Palestinians are animals or untermensch (subhumans) as the Nazis labeled Jews.
