Zelensky’s hail Mary lie
Volodymyr Zelensky, the ex-president of Ukraine, whose term expired on My 21, has been striking out in his attempts to join both the EU and NATO.
His latest strike-out was his “peace” conference in Bürgenstock Resort in Switzerland on 15–16 June 2024, which he imagined would end with the whole world demanding that Russia leave Ukraine at once, and with Putin just high-tailing it on outta there. It didn’t happen. And it was his last chance. Pretty depressing, but since then he has found solace in fiction writing, and he has quite a flair for it.
The latest chapter of Zelensky’s unfinished fiction novel contains this gem:
The ratio of casualties at the front is currently 6 Russians to 1 Ukrainian. These are the statistics for the Kharkiv and Pokrovsk sectors, says Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. [So far this year, Russia just keeps advancing and a vast number of Ukie troops are being killed by air strikes even before they get to the front lines. No Russians are dying in the execution of these strikes. Yet Mr. Z tells us they are mysteriously getting dead… while Ukrainians lead charmed lives on the battlefield. The implication is that they are immune to bullets]
"Today, 1 Ukrainian to 6 Russians are killed. We had statistics of about 4 times, and now in the Kharkiv direction, Pokrovsk direction, the figures are 1 to 6," the head of state said. [That’s because Russia equips its men with sling shots while each Ukrainian soldier gets a whole tank to himself, right, Z?]
Zelenskyy emphasized that modern warfare is technological. Therefore, the one who is more technologically advanced wins at the front. [Z claims Ukraine has the sci-tech edge over Russia? So it was Ukraine that invented the hypersonic missile. And then, wouldn’t ya know, the Russian Grinch came in and stole every last one of them and they’re firing them right back at you. So that explains why Ukraine keeps begging the West for missiles. What about electronic warfare? The US military has been complaining since the Russian incursion into Syria that US planes can’t perform as designed in that environment and they admit it’s because of Russian EW. But of course, the Russians have been using Ukrainian EW all along, the sneaks! And air defenses? Ukraine invented the Patriot but the US took credit for it and bought them all up. That’s why Z keeps begging the West for more air defenses. It’s just SOOOO unfair. Poor Mr Z. But read on…]
Back on planet earth, however, here’s the cocaine-free version
If Ukraine were losing fewer men than Russia, the Ukes would not be desperately recruiting, even kidnapping men off the street. Further, it is known that Ukraine can’t get any more than 1/3 the number of artillery shells than Russia because Russia has a vastly superior military industry. Which is why Ukraine keeps begging for more shells from the West.
Here is a Western article (hence, not Russian propaganda) titled ‘A lot higher than we expected’: Russian arms production worries Europe’s war planners.
And of course, Russia has always had air superiority in Ukraine. In fact, all of Ukraine’s aircraft at the beginning of the war were Soviet made. Most have been destroyed by Russia.
Further, Russia has weapons of mass destruction with no equivalents. They regularly strike large masses of Ukie troops with ballistic missiles, drones and massive bombs released by pilots safely away from any air defenses, killing hundreds at once and receiving no losses at all. Yet novelist Zelensky insists that Russia is losing more men than they are. Even as Russia takes more and more terrain. The desperate lies are intended for consumption by the Western suppliers of arms and for the various important conferences that Ukraine hopes will eventually make Ukraine a member of either NATO or the EU, both of which increasingly seem like distant dreams.
If Ukraine were really winning the war, NATO would have long negotiated for its entry as a member.
If you need convincing, check this out https://donhank.substack.com/p/ukraine-is-out-of-ammo plus this https://www.rt.com/news/598817-putin-russia-ukraine-losses/, and then read these outrageous lies from an actor who knows how to lie with a straight face:
The result of such outrageous lies will no doubt be a sudden unexpected collapse. All of the alternate commentators on the Ukraine war are saying that Ukraine is losing, but let’s just sit back and watch the show.
We’re near the end of the movie.

We've had several other shows on this topic a few months ago.
Alt media in the USA are not even aware of this rapid movement to a multipolar world nor the ditching of the Dollar. BRICS+ and growing fast isn't even on their radars, and it should be.

HERE is the REAL reason all the Establishment media claimed Biden lost! Israel is the boss of both Trump and Biden and the reason our politicians are cynically exterminating the Palestinians.
https://ca.news.yahoo.com/trump-criticized-palestinian-insult-debate-215119246.html?guccounter=1
By Kanishka Singh
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Human rights advocates on Friday condemned former President Donald Trump's references to Palestinians, and immigrants allegedly taking Black American jobs, during Thursday's debate with President Joe Biden, calling the remarks racist or insulting.
Biden and Trump had a brief exchange on the war in Gaza but did not have a substantive discussion on how to end the conflict which has killed 38,000 in the enclave, according to the Gaza health ministry, and caused a massive humanitarian crisis with widespread hunger.
The war began when Palestinian Hamas militants attacked Israel on Oct. 7, killing 1,200 people and abducting some 250 others, according to Israeli tallies.
"The only one who wants the war to continue is Hamas," Biden said. Trump responded by saying Biden has "become like a Palestinian," which rights advocates said came across as a slur.
"Actually, Israel is the one (that wants to keep going), and you should let them go and let them finish the job [The IDF has already killed almost 40,000 innocent civilians in Gaza, Trump wants a more COMPLETE genocide?! Even if he could be a good president, he is a BAD, heartless person. His comments prove he cares about no one but himself]. He (Biden) doesn’t want to do it. He's become like a Palestinian but they don't like him because he's a very bad Palestinian. He's a weak one," Trump said.
On Friday, Trump again used the term 'Palestinian' in a similar way, this time saying in a rally that Democratic Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, who is Jewish, was Palestinian. "He's become a Palestinian because they have a couple more votes or something," he added.
The Council on American Islamic Relations advocacy group said Biden was wrong to claim that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wants the war to end, while adding it viewed Trump's Palestinian comment in the debate as a racist insult.
"Former President Trump's use of 'Palestinian' as an insult was racist. President Biden's touting of his military support for the Israeli government's genocide in Gaza was callous," Corey Saylor, research and advocacy director at CAIR, said in a statement. Israel denies allegations of genocide.
"To insinuate that being Palestinian is somehow a bad thing, as former President Trump did when he called President Biden Palestinian, reeks of racism and anti-Arab hatred," Paul O'Brien, executive director of Amnesty International USA, told Reuters. [Trump didn’t mean it as an insult. He meant it as a sop to Israel, his REAL boss]
Human rights advocates have reported a rise in Islamophobia, anti-Palestinian bias and antisemitism in the U.S. since the latest eruption of conflict in the Middle East. The war in Gaza and Washington's support for Israel has also led to months of protests across the United States calling for an end to the conflict. [No, not an end to the conflict, an end to the GENOCIDE! The media don’t dare tell the truth]
Trump also faced criticism for using the term "Black jobs" and "Hispanic jobs" while claiming immigrants who were coming into the United States from its border with Mexico were taking away those employment opportunities.
The Trump campaign did not have an immediate comment to the criticism. [He doesn’t need
Immigration is a key election issue and Trump has claimed Biden has failed to secure the southern U.S. border, ushering in scores of criminals. Studies show immigrants do not commit crimes at a higher rate than native-born Americans.
"The fact is that his (Biden's) big kill on the Black people is the millions of people that he's allowed to come in through the border," Trump said during the debate. "They're taking Black jobs, and they're taking Hispanic jobs."
Civil rights organization NAACP wrote on X: "What exactly are Black and Hispanic Jobs!?!". It added: "There is no such thing as a Black Job."
Amnesty International's O'Brien told Reuters that Trump's comments on immigration were grounded in white supremacy.
"It is disheartening that false narratives grounded in white supremacy and racism about people seeking asylum at the border and immigrant communities in the United States continue to permeate our national discourse," he added.
Adrianne Shropshire, executive director of BlackPAC, an organization that works to mobilize Black voters, said Trump's remarks were not true and that Biden should have pushed back harder on such false claims.
"That there are specific Black jobs for Black people that immigrants are coming to take. Utter nonsense," Shropshire said.
Trump's campaign has made an effort to court Black voters, with the former president visiting Detroit and Philadelphia in recent weeks. Some polls have shown a downtick in support for Biden among Black voters, who historically have been among the Democratic Party’s most loyal voting blocs.

What we learned from the presidential debate: Golf scores matter!
By Jane Stillwater https://jpstillwater.blogspot.com/2024/06/what-we-learned-from-presidential.html
At the recent presidential debate, the two main contestants for this high office got into a very heated argument about their golf scores. Golf scores? Now that something Americans can really relate to. Yeah, right. How out of touch with the average American can those two be?
What are they thinking?
The homeless Americans just can't wait to get out on the links every weekend. Jobless Americans constantly dream about having a better handicap. Handicapped vets who had their arms and legs blown off in all these useless wars? Hey, they want a better handicap too!
And then there's daycare. Both presidential candidates thought that daycare would solve America's woes. Don't get me wrong. I got nothing against daycare. Daycare is a wonderful thing. However.
Nothing else actually meaningful was mentioned in that recent debate. Not ending all those useless and endless wars that are bankrupting us. Not stopping that bloody genocide in Gaza and the useless and pointless slaughter of 500,000 Ukrainian young men in order to make weapons-manufacturers happy. Not criminalizing the Federal Reserve for its insane Ponzi schemes. Not getting rid of AIPAC's foreign-lobby octopus that is strangling our Congress. Nope. Daycare is gonna save the day!
Daycare and golf. Who knew.

9 lessons learned from Yemeni attacks on ships in the Red Sea
Naval attacks in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Gulf of Aden, launched by the Yemeni army and popular committees against Israeli ships or those heading towards occupied Palestine, and more recently against American and British ships, are receiving the attention of the world, especially those specializing in military affairs, because of this confrontation’s various effects and repercussions.
In this context, the Naval News website, which specializes in maritime defense affairs, published an article, translated by the Trenches website, in which it reviews 9 observations and lessons learned about this confrontation, all of which prove that this front is extremely influential and unprecedented in many military aspects, especially in terms of launching a missile. ASBM against a ship.
Translated text:
Attacks on commercial ships and warships continue in the Red Sea and surrounding waters. Most of the attacks were carried out by the Houthi movement in Yemen, but some can be directly attributed to Iran. There is no reasonable doubt that Iran is helping the Houthis. So far no ships have been sunk [this article is old. By now, several have been sunk by the Houthis], although several have been hit and the impact on global shipping has been significant. It is too early to draw definitive lessons, but some observations can be made.
1) Standard anti-ship ballistic missiles
Iran developed an anti-ship version of its Fateh-110 ballistic missile more than 10 years ago. This included the installation of an electro-optical/infrared seeker. The missiles are smaller, slower and shorter-range than their Chinese counterparts, but they are still powerful.
The past few years have seen an abundance of these designs, and they all seem to benefit from the same researcher. The largest and most advanced type is probably the Raad-500, which the Houthis call “Tankeel,” while the Red Sea is barely wider than Al-Bahat. The range and warhead vary but all represent a real threat. Smaller missiles are likely to be cheaper and easier to hide, but still have sufficient range for engagements in the Red Sea.
2) Simplified and low-cost cruise missiles
Iran managed to reflect a Russian Kh-55 (AS-15 KENT) cruise missile. Next, a simplified, scaled-down version was built that could use a commercial jet engine similar to those found in model airplanes. This design was provided to the Houthis and may now also be in Iranian stock. It essentially gives the Houthis a very reduced long-range ground attack capability, but with a smaller warhead. As expected in the Houthi arsenal, there is an anti-ship version. This approach differs from Western countries, which tend to purchase very few cruise missiles, but they are expensive.
3) Using drones against ships
The Shahed Attack Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (OWA-UAV) has demonstrated its usefulness in Ukraine. They are relatively easy to take down individually, yet are too dangerous to ignore, so they expand defenses. In general, it was seen as only useful against stationary targets. But Iran has proven that it is also capable of hitting ships at incredible ranges. At least two ships were hit, one at a distance.
Their usefulness against warships is likely to be very limited, but they pose a real concern against unarmed merchant ships. The Houthis use different OWA-UAVs against ships. Many make mistakes or fail, but are likely to improve.
4)Even the "dark ships" can be seen
It is difficult to locate and identify ships that do not transmit their position on the AIS (Automatic Identification System). This is especially true for people who rely on open source intelligence (OSINT). But the effectiveness of "Darkness" is limited, against a determined opponent with an eye on water and possessing various advanced means. Ships cannot easily hide their presence in shipping lanes.
It also means that if the Houthis hit a Russian or Chinese ship in the Red Sea, they intended to do so.
5) Merchant ships have a high survivability, and missiles rarely sink ships
Modern merchant ships are built with survivability in mind. Maybe not against these threats, but certainly in a way that makes them difficult to sink. Its design, with the superstructure aft of its center of mass (where missiles typically target), means that most hits are where the payload is. There is still a significant risk if they are hit by missiles, but in reality only a few of them will be sunk.
However, warships are smaller and have more important parts in close proximity. They are expected to have better defenses and damage control should the worst happen.
6) The importance of air defense for naval ships
Warships are threatened by ongoing multi-media attacks, using drones, naval missiles and anti-ship ballistic missiles. Many, perhaps most, warships are too lightly defended to operate in this threat environment.
Even today, few warships have defenses against intercontinental ballistic missiles. For many navies, the implementation of this capability is progressing much more slowly than the spread of the threat.
Warships also need to intercept missiles directed at other ships. This makes it indispensable.
7) Deterrence has limited benefit against an opponent who has nothing to lose
When the attacks began, there were calls for Western countries to take military action against the Houthis. Many observers expected the Tomahawks to appear at dawn, and were frustrated when strikes took months to materialize. But many observers were not sure the strikes would make much difference. This is what we have seen, the attacks continue.
Recent strikes, which target missiles before they are launched, may be more useful. But they cannot be expected to catch every launch, and the Houthis can adjust their tactics to reduce risks. For example, launching anti-ship missiles from deep underground.
8) Do not underestimate Iranian technology
Iran is capable of innovating and developing effective and smart weapons, especially in an asymmetrical arena. “Credit where credit is due” (an adage that someone should be recognized and praised for something they have done or a good quality they possess), there are some serious threats hidden behind the hype and grandiose claims.
So far no ship has been sunk. Maybe this is because they are trying not to. There are at least indications of weapons and tactics designed to reduce the risk of the target ship sinking. This suggests that their goals are achieved once a real threat is presented.
However, it seems likely that they may attempt to sink the warships. Iranian technology is capable, in principle, of achieving this.
9) It is difficult to predict the future
Few would have imagined that the first use of anti-ship ballistic missile (ASBM) would be by the Houthi movement in the Red Sea.
There are still many capabilities that Iran is believed to possess, but which have not been used. Iran and the Houthis could become more effective in these strikes if they learn from them. There is every indication that they will do so. It seems that this conflict is not over yet, and the next surprise may come tomorrow.

Our thanks to CA for this:
My brother told me recently that he was in a group counseling session (Alcoholics Anonymous) where people were asked to share their ideas of what heaven would be like. My brother said that people kept talking about things like wealth, status, power. When he was asked to share his idea of what heaven would be like, he said, "Streets of gold my ass. If there's a heaven, there won't be any gold; if there's a God, he won't have any use for gold."
He told me that he told the group, "If I get to heaven, I want something greater. I want something I cannot even comprehend today. I want something transcendent. I want the fifth dimension!"
I thought my brother hit the nail pretty squarely on the head.
